1. Intro Slide | Beginning of Video

Here you see the first slide of the video and it is simple and sweet communication to the

potential buyer in that it:

• Explains what the video is about

• Includes the website name (A MUST DO!)

• The title of video is effective ad copy - the words “How To”

2. Slide 2 – Brings in Social Proof of who he is, backing up the claim that he is a

“best-selling author”.

4. Slide 4 – Information Visualization. Brings in a great picture of army/military

which works will with his ad copy “deliberate plan”. It works as he is conveying

the message of a ‘system’ or well laid out plan and this image gives great

visualization of the message to the potential buyer.

This video we had done for a client and for the client’s privacy sake, we have put

‘censored’ where the company logo would have normally appeared in the video. This

was the video that created the 322 hits on the site in one day!

The interesting thing about this video was that it had pulled in an “offline” viral video

effect in addition to online where customers of the company started talking and sharing

the “did you see that video on their blog…there is a mystery contest with mystery

prizes…I wonder what the prizes are”. The President got bombarded with questions

specific to people wondering what the prizes would be! I suggested they give away a

Harley and make a big deal of it to get even more traffic and great free publicity…but

alas, that didn’t fly by the head management! The prizes were more in regards to free

services or a banner advertisement which is still great!

A few days later, I also put it on craigslist, a great way to get the huge ranking of

heavyweight website Craigslist.org linking back to your site. Below is the actual posting:

Step by Step How this Mystery Video was Created:

1. I wanted to put in an element of mystery and that is why I did not reveal what the

prizes exactly would be! That created some buzz with their customers and

potential customers.

2. I then used stock images bought at istockphoto

3. The extra Viral Bam: Check this out you will love it…not only can you grab great

stock photos from istockphoto…but you can also purchase for dirt cheap actual

videos you can include in your video. So the cool ‘matrix’ like video with little

dollar signs you see floating down the screen on the video is actually the video (I

show this to you in the video tutorial).

4. I uploaded the stock images and stock video to my Windows Movie Maker (free

software for us Windows folks…for mac users – you have iMovie to use.

5. I created the script, sent it over to Pro Voice Over to do the recording ($45 with

music in background…Chris Davies can be reached at [email protected])

6. I then uploaded the mp3 Pro Voice Sent Over.

7. Then ‘published’ it (as shown in video tutorial…in movie maker it is an easy

menu path to find)

8. Then uploaded to YouTube

9. Then copied the html code YouTube gives you into the blog post. See below
