Shall be equipped with heavy tape weights in the bottom seam engineered and tailored specifically for use in commercial barrier-free, curb-less, or low threshold shower stalls. The curtain must meet or exceed the following requirements. The width shall be a minimum of 6” wider than the pre-determined shower opening. The curtain shall be a standard 74” height unless a custom height is specified and it must be installed such that it touches the floor of the shower to effectively control water spillage. Material shall be a soft nylon polyester fabric, standard color white, machine washable, splash resistant, bacterial resistant, stain resistant, and flame resistant. Collapsible Water Retention Dams

Specification: Shall be one inch in height, white in color, triangular in shape with water resistant

strip integrated into recessed base channel for a flush adhesion to the shower floor. Water dam

shall collapse under foot or wheelchair and shall provide maximum water control when used in

conjunction with a weighted shower curtain. The dam shall be a lab tested, nonporous, surface

meeting all anti-bacterial requirements of health care facilities. Collapsible water dam shall

include matching white end caps for either radius corner showers or square corner showers to

assure a water tight seal and finished appearance. For radius corner showers the dam shall be

cut to a length that is 6” wider than the opening to allow the dam to travel 3” up either side

wall to assist in controlling water from escaping. Water dams shall be provide for shower

Collapsible dam material is sold by the foot (no ½ foot increments). It can be applied to fiberglass, acrylic, cultured marble, tile, and other non-porous, surfaces. A 1.5” wide flat, clean mounting surface is required. It is recommended to clean the surface with denatured alcohol and to remove any silicone prior to installation.”
