Acer and Plaque Within our Acer Glade we have many stunning specimens available for adoption including Japanese Sunrise, Fireglow and Sango-Kaku. Acers come with an attractive plaque in a choice of cream, brown or black for your inscription. Plaques are mounted on a stake and have the option to include a hand-painted motif along with your inscription (see sample images on Page 14).

Standard plaques can accommodate up to 9 lines and 30 characters/spaces (per line) for inscriptions in lower case, for inscriptions in block capitals the standard plaque can accommodate up to 6 lines and 25 characters/spaces (per line).

Heart-shaped plaques can accommodate up to 10 lines for inscriptions in lower case (the number of characters will vary per line due to the shape of the plaque but will not exceed 30 characters/spaces per line). For inscriptions in block capitals the heart-shaped plaque can accommodate up to 7 lines and no more than 25 characters/spaces (per line).

You can upgrade to a larger, heart-shaped plaque (available in cream or black) with the option to include a motif. See Page 30 for our Price List.


Benches You can adopt a bench within our Garden of Remembrance. We have a selection to choose from within the grounds. Over the coming years we shall be replacing the wooden benches with a more environmentally friendly, weather resistant bench.

This memorial comes with a Stone Efect plaque. Should you wish to select a bench, please make an appointment using the contact details.

Bench plaques can accommodate up to 4 lines with a maximum of 80 characters per inscription.

Birdbath Memorial Tablet A beautifully crafted granite birdbath memorial with a fve tier base ofering diferent tablet sizes for your inscription. Situated in our chapel courtyard close to the Cloisters and ornamental pond, this memorial comes with the option to add an illustration to your tablet (priced separately).

Birdbath tablets can accommodate a maximum of 5 lines, the number of characters depends on which row is required:

1st Row Tablet (20 characters per line, including spaces)

2nd Row Tablet (21 characters per line, including spaces)

3rd Row Tablet (23 characters per line, including spaces)

4th Row Tablet (25 characters per line, including spaces)

5th Row Tablet (27 characters per line, including spaces)

Blossom Valley – Barbican and Standing Stones Blossom Valley is our new children’s area providing a variety of memorials specifcally designed to help our youngest visitors and their families come to terms with bereavement. With hand-carved woodland characters and its peaceful setting, Blossom Valley ofers Standing Stone memorials as well as Barbican tablets which are made of granite for your inscription. There is also an option to add an illustration (priced separately). The unique ‘owl’ postbox allows children and their families to send letters to people they’ve lost which we hope will provide an outlet for their feelings.

Standing Stone tablets can accommodate up to 8 lines with a maximum of 116 characters (including spaces). The number of characters will vary per line due to the shape of the plaque but will not exceed 20 characters per line.

Barbican tablets can accommodate up to 6 lines with a maximum of 110 characters (including spaces) per inscription. Please note that lines 3 and 4 are shorter by 8 characters each line to allow for fttings.

Book of Remembrance / Folded Memorial Card Capture the memory of your loved one forever in our Book of Remembrance. The books are open to view 365 days of the year between 9.00am – 4.30pm, so you can come on your chosen date to view your inscription. We also have an electronic version in our Book of Remembrance Hall, so you can view your inscription on any day.

Orders place for the Book of Remembrance are sent away for the entries to be inscribed as follows:

January, February, March – sent away 1st October

April, May, June – sent away 2nd January

July, August, September – sent away 1st April

October, November, December – sent away 1st July

Therefore, depending on when the order is placed, it may be some time before your entry is available to view. Please use the template on Page 34 for your inscription.

Examples of Book of Remembrance Entries

Before completing the application form, please note the following:

Line 1 can accommodate a maximum of 32 characters/spaces (27 characters/spaces if an emblem is to be included). This line will always be inscribed as follows:

Jones, Frederick Alan This line can include rank or title, maiden or former names, for example: Branson, Robert John, Flt. Lt Green, Anthony, M.B.E Parker, Ann Mary, nee Jones Smith, formerly Dawson, Mary

Line 2 onwards can accommodate a maximum of 40 characters/spaces per line (35 characters if an emblem is to be included). Emblems will take up the space of 5 lines in the book. Applicants should provide a copy of the emblem with their application (personal photographs can be copied and returned if so desired, however we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage).

There is no rule as to the date of entry. Some people choose to use birthdays or, if an entry is for a husband and wife, the date of their wedding anniversary is sometimes used.

Dates will be inscribed in full, for example 9.10.1937 will appear as 9th October 1937, however, in order to prevent an inscription extending onto an additional line unnecessarily, the month may be abbreviated.



Chapel Lawn Barbicans Our beautiful Barbicans are located next to the Chapel Lawn and provide an ideal place to remember a loved one who may be buried close by. The attractive black granite tablet has futed edges and comes with an inscription of your choice in gold gilt. There is also an option to add an illustration (priced separately).




Chapel Lawn Planter Our popular Chapel Lawn Planter is located in the centre of our new cremated remains burial area and is an ideal place to remember loved ones. A black granite tablet can be purchased with an inscription of fve lines in gold gilt. Please enquire at Reception regarding availability.

Chapel Lawn Planter tablets can accommodate up to 5 lines with a maximum of 89 characters (including spaces) per inscription. Please note that the middle line is shorter by 6 characters to allow for fttings.



Cloister Tablet Our Cloister tablets are made from natural stone and are available as a double or single tablet in black, white or green stone. Situated to the side of the Chapel overlooking the ornamental pond, our Cloister tablets are under cover with convenient access for wheelchair users. We recommend that you come in and visit us so that we can help you select an appropriate location.

Single Cloister tablets can accommodate up to 3 lines with 29 characters (including spaces) per line.

Double Cloister tablets can accommodate up to 6 lines with 29 characters (including spaces) per line.

Heart Memorial Plaque New to Vinters Park Crematorium! Our beautiful heart shaped plaques are available as a stand-alone memorial in one of our designated fower beds within the Garden of Remembrance. Available in black or cream with a granite-style fnish, each plaque comes with the option to add a hand painted motif from the samples below (included in the price). We are also ofering the heart shaped plaque as an upgrade from our standard plaques that come with roses, trees and shrubs – please see our Price List for full details.

Memorial Wall Vases Memorial wall vases are situated in the Cloisters, Flower Hall and around the edge of Bed 49. Vases in the Cloisters and Flower Hall are under cover and include a black plaque for your inscription whilst our stone vases on Bed 49 include a stone efect plaque. Memorial wall vases are easily accessible and have access to an outside tap.

Mushrooms - Woodside Walk & Panorama Our granite mushroom memorials are perfect if you like something a little diferent. Each tablet is bespoke to its mushroom and comes with your inscription in gold gilt. Situated within our Woodside Area and our Sanctum Panorama Area, our mushroom memorials are often visited by rabbits, squirrels and badgers.

Mushroom tablets can accommodate up to 5 lines with a maximum of 13 characters/spaces on line 1, 2, 4 and 5 with 17 characters/spaces on line 3.

Rose and Plaque You can adopt a rose within our Garden of Remembrance. Our roses either come in their own plot or in a bed with other roses or shrubs. Roses come with an attractive plaque in a choice of cream. brown or black for your inscription. Plaques are mounted on a stake and have the option to include a hand-painted motif along with your inscription (see sample images on Page 14).





Sanctum Panorama Our Sanctum Panorama is situated in our Garden of Remembrance and is one of several memorials at Vinters Park Crematorium designed to accommodate ashes. Each individual niche can securely hold up to three sets of ashes in specifcally sized wooden caskets which are provided. Included in the price is an inscription of your choice up to 80 characters, there is also the option to include illustrations and/or photo plaques (priced separately).

Includes: Inscription up to 80 characters, wooden caskets for ashes (with engraved nameplates) and internment service for the family (conducted by one of our Bereavement Services Team).



Sanctum Vault (Double) Our popular Sanctum Vaults are an above-ground granite vault designed to securely accommodate two sets of ashes in specifcally sized wooden caskets which are provided. Situated within our Garden of Rememberance, we have several locations available, from the tranquility of our Woodside Acer Sanctum Vaults to the sunny Hawthorn Sanctum Vaults (other locations may also be available – please enquire at Reception). Included in the price is an inscription of your choice up to 80 characters, there is also the option to include illustrations and/or photo plaques (priced separately).

Includes: Inscription up to 80 characters, wooden caskets for ashes (with engraved nameplates) and internment service for the family (conducted by one of our Bereavement Services Team).

Woodside Walk Book Conveniently situated on the edge of our Woodside Walk, this attractive granite book memorial is free standing and angled on a stand with a hand carved cord and tassel. The location of our Woodside Walk Book provides visitors with an opportunity for quiet refection within our Garden of Remembrance whilst enjoying the best nature has to ofer.

Woodside Walk Book tablets can accommodate up to 5 lines with a maximum of 95 characters/spaces per inscription. Please note that the middle line is shorter by 6 characters to allow for fttings.

Maidstone Cemetery – Cremated Remains Section If, even though your loved one chose to be cremated, you would still like a more traditional grave space, we have cremated remains graves at our Cemetery in Suttom Road, Maidstone. There is a whole section dedicated to cremated remains (ashes only) burials.

Exclusive rights for a burial plot for a Maidstone resident is £470.00

Each burial will cost £245.00


Maidstone Cemetery – The Majestic Mausoleum This is an above ground vault, large enough to securely accept four specifcally sized caskets (included). The front tablet can be ftted either in one large piece, or two separate tablets. Inscription on the front of each tablet is up to eight lines and are currently charged at £35 per line.

Photo plaques are also an option, please contact us for a quotation.
