    McKendree Church will once again hold a paptowel drive for Community Care Fellowship oSunday, August 23, 2009. Please bring ystore-bought rolls of paper towels with you to

    church on this date as we anticipate lining theback hallway of the church from floor-to-ceilinwith paper towel donations!

    McKendree on Aug 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and wilbe offered every 2nd & 4th Friday for 6 sessions.

    Mosaic Downtown Fellowship relaunch

    In a bold effort toreach as manypeople in themetropolitan areafor Christ aspossible, Stephen

    andy is expanding his initial idea of Mosaic Downtownellowship. This was originally held once a month atcKs worship center (Nov. 08-Jun. 09). Pastor Handysew vision includes a new meeting location, involvingembers of the community outside of McKendree in

    adership roles and most importantly moving Mosaicutside of the just-another-worship-service box.

    ay Care Center Plans Consignment Sale

    ur child care program eagerly anticipates the kick-off of its first ever consignment sale on Monday, September 14. Te, held on the second floor of the CLC, will operate that Monday through Thursday, September 18 from 10:00 a.m0 p.m. selling childrens fall and winter clothing, toys, books, maternity wear and general childrens equipment. Wkes this consignment sale different from so many others, says Cindy Ligon, McKendree Day Care Program Direits downtown location and hours. We are definitely marketing it to the worlds busiest people working parents

    onsigners split proceeds 50/50 with the day care center. Earnings will be used to hold down tuition increases next pecting a big crowd of shoppers, the center is still looking for consigners. Members of the church and families of ty care consign for free, others pay a mere $10.00.
