Technology Developed and DeployedBackpack course management system with online site and mobile apps for Android andWindows Phone. I am one of the five team members. It is live at IIITD for the last twosemesters with 40 courses.

WiFiShare Android app, developed by my PhD student Kuldeep Yadav and MTech studentVartika Srivastava, has so far more than 50,000 installations.

Fourteen applications from Mobile Computing course, which was offered in Monsoon’12semester, were published in Android and Windows Phone App Stores. BTech student S.Singhal’s app had more than 12K downloads in three months and BTech student A. Saini’sapp was listed “The best Impressive and New App on App Flow and Featured” on WP7market.

Indigenously developed low-cost SMS (GSM to IP) Gateway was provided to IBM ResearchLabs (IRL), India for their National University Challenge 2012: Build Smarter Cities.

GrepFellas is a web-based application, developed by S. Jairath using his BTech project. Itis a search-engine to search mobile phones in social network. The application is online athttp://grepfellas.com/search.php

Disha Journey Planner, which was developed as an internship project and later on wasmodified to include extensive database from the industrial partner DIMTS. This applicationprovides user with route information for going between any two places in Delhi using publictransport. It was co-supervised with Prof. Amarjeet Singh and Prof. Pushpendra Singhfrom IIIT-Delhi. It is online at http://61.16.238.196/disha/index.php

RighFare, which was developed as an internship project, is a mobile application takes twolocations in Delhi as input over SMS and calculates the approximate auto-rickshaw farebetween the two given locations. It was co-supervised with Prof. Amarjeet Singh andProf. Pushpendra Singh. Our industrial collaborator Ideophone marketed it as Autofare athttp://www.ideophone.in/products/sms/

CVDMagic is an application for early detection of Cardio-Vascular Disease based on pre-

The application was developedwithin the Sana Framework and deployed in rural areas of Punjab with Electronic HealthPoint (EHP), who are setting up rural clinics in that state. It is co-supervised with Prof.Amarjeet Singh and Prof. Pushpendra Singh.

Sprinkler, which is an innovation resulting from V. Naik’s PhD Thesis, is a utility to wire-lessly reprogram wireless sensor nodes. The utility was transferred to Northrop Grumman,USA and Samraksh, USA.
