Vilnius Convention Bureau has launched a new guide, presenting diverse incentive ideas in Vilnius. Meeting planners looking for new ideas will definately find something interesting to captivate their meeting delegates. Some of presented incentive ideas stem from the age-old culture and tradition , others reflects more cosmopolitan side. Lithuania’s extraordinarily rich and complicated history dates back a
thousand years, during which time its national heritage has been
imbued with influences from countless other cultures from the East and
West. Experience all of it, including tasting traditional local food and
drinks, baking your own bread or Lithuanian cake, learning folk dances,
indulging in traditional crafts or pampering yourself in a traditional
Lithuanian bath house.

The humorous programme continues with singing, music, stories and other delights.

People with an interest in traditional arts and crafts are invited to participate in a range of workshops organised by some of the country’s leading professional artists and craftspeople. Participants are offered hands-on experience of several arts and crafts including the art of the blacksmith, wood-working, ceramics, amber, textiles and other time honoured traditions.

Learn all about the traditional 15th-century šakotis, a unique cake considered a symbol of master Lithuanian confectionery. Bake home-made bread and learn the story of its creation from the sewing of the rye to making the perfect bread recipe. You will be introduced to the traditions of drink-manufacture, including the making (and tasting!) of mead, beer and other classic drinks. Learn all about the classic Lithuanian bath house, enriched with balmy local herbs, the perfect way to relax after a busy day.

Lithuania is one of a few countries in the world where
amber is washed ashore naturally by the sea, and
collecting it is a local tradition. This ancient stone is
valuable not only as a material for marvellous jewelry,
but being full of healing qualities it is used in medicine

Soviet Bunker & Kalashnikov Shooting
