Albany’s beginnings are rooted in Albany House, the historic beachside mansion in the heart of our community originally owned by French filmmaker and Inspector Gadget creator Jean Chalopin and the site of the James Bond film Casino Royale. Today Albany House is home to our fine dining restaurant, intimate ultra lounge and resort concierge services.

Albany’s 18-hole championship golf course combines the best of links and desert features. Designed by Ernie Els, the 7,400-yard course plays through windswept dunes and is highlighted by a number of scenic and strategically challenging water features. Albany’s course caters to both the scratch golfer and the avid recreational player. The par-72 course features multiple sets of tees and a range of shot values to provide a challenging experience for every level of player.
Pro Shop
Albany’s Pro Shop is your destination for the finest golf, tennis and fitness equipment, apparel and accessories for all ages. Visit the Pro Shop to sign up for golf and tennis clinics and private lessons, or test demo clubs. Our golf professionals are always on hand to help with custom club fittings and special ordering.
First-class practice facilities complement the golf course, including a 400-yard driving range and multiple short game practice facilities. Individual and group clinics are led by Albany’s Director of Golf Operations Damien Michelmore and his team of golf professionals.

A security and yacht watch program maintains a close eye on yachts harbored at Albany. Albany’s Harbor Master Derek Roderick and our marina attendants are available seven days a week to provision and provide docking assistance to vessels.
