The Villager was the recipient of seven awards – three first-place awards and four second-place awards at the Better Newspaper Contest Awards Luncheon on Feb. 25. Villager Publisher and Past President of Colorado Press As- sociation Bob Sweeney, said, “Not surprising is that the papers that win most of the awards are successful in their respective communities.
