I completed a commercial corridor inventory over the course of the summer of 2017 in order to help the Village of Arts and Humanities and the local business asscociation better un-derstand how the corridor has changed in the last five years. This commercial corridor has been struggling to activate more storefronts, but recently undertook a massive streetscape redesign project to attract new customers. After I designed and conducted a survey with the business owners, and completed an inventory of the commercial property, I was able to help the busineess association understand the strengths and weaknesses of the corridor. From this point, I helped to connect them to professional resources around further loans and consumer profile research for the neighborhood.
