FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TOYOTA INTRODUCES THE NEW FORTUNER AND THE HILUX
TRD VARIANT
This September, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) enhances its ever reliable Fortuner and Hilux models! With
refreshed exterior specifications and interior improvements, both vehicles still continue to prove their strong
presence in our roads today. Toyota aims to further boost its SUV and Pick-up segment through its globally
known International Innovative Multipurpose Vehicle (IMV) line-up.
The New Fortuner
The Fortuner continues to reinvent itself with a bolder and sportier exterior as seen in its new smoked
headlamps, taillamps and chrome fog lamp bezel. It also now sports new gunmetal alloy wheels lending the
popular SUV a stylish new look on the road. This new appearance coupled with its ever-reliable advanced
Variable Nozzle Turbocharger (VNT) Technology for better fuel efficiency, additional engine power and
increased torque will still definitely make the Fortuner a top choice amongst Filipinos.

As you step inside the vehicle, one would also quickly notice its new black interior finish giving the Fortuner a
more modern look. Still available for the Fortuner 4x4 V Diesel and the 4X2 G Diesel Automatic variants are
the installed Audio system with Navigation Global Positioning System (GPS) which offers the most POIs (Point
of Interests) available in the Philippines. This comes standard with a 6.5” Digital LCD with Touch screen
function and so much more.
The improved Fortuner is available in both 4X4 and 4X2 drive trains. The 4X4 comes along with a 3.0-liter V
diesel variant priced at P1, 770,000 while the 4x2 2.5-liter V diesel option A/T is priced at P1,495,000. The 4X2
2.5-liter G diesel option on the other hand is priced at P1, 365,000 for the Automatic Transmission and P 1,
295,000 for the Manual Transmission. A 2.7-liter G gasoline option is also offered at P1, 282,000. Available
colors are Super White (G Grade only), Dark Steel, Silky Gold Mica Metallic and its new shades of Gray
Metallic, Attitude Black and Silver Metallic. A White Pearl color on the V variant is also available for an
additional P15, 000.
The New Hilux TRD Variant
Toyota continues to give power beyond limits for its Hilux now with a SPORTY upgrade! This month, Toyota
throws in a more exciting variant in its line-up that will definitely leave you more empowered in driving.

Toyota introduces the Hilux TRD to its product lineup! This latest addition is available in the same high-
performing 2.5-liter engine guaranteeing power and accelerated speed that will leave you breathless. On top of
its sculptured flowing lines, exclusive features such as TRD alloy wheels, sporty TRD Front/Rear Bumpers and
exclusive TRD Decals are additional specifications offered on this variant. Highlighting further its superb
styling, the Hilux TRD boasts a new black interior and side step. Moreover, the TRD variant carries daytime
running lights.
All in all, the new Fortuner and Hilux offer to accomplished and goal-driven individuals the power, confidence
and freedom to conquer the road through its bolder look and advanced features.
