Dear Supporter of the Edward H. Schmidt School of Professional Sales, I invite your company to become a sponsor of the 3 rd annual University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition (UTISC) that will take place at the University of Toledo on February 22-24, 2018. As you know, it is all too common for organizations to vie for seniors who are already placed or weighing multiple offers. The more impactful interactions are those with receptive juniors, sophomores, and freshmen that you can place into internships, mentor, and otherwise stay in touch with as they progress with their collegiate careers. As a proven pioneer and leader in the university sales education landscape, the University of Toledo is proud and excited to help companies find tomorrow’s top and available sales talent – FIRST with the UTISC . The UTISC is the first and only national collegiate sales competition exclusively focused on the non-senior (ie: juniors, sophomores, and freshmen)! An additional differentiator is formal, personal coaching/interviewing in-between the competition rounds regardless of who advances. The UTISC benefits everyone who participates: Businesses - Higher probability for offer acceptance and earlier identification of top talent. Competitors and alternates have to be juniors, sophomores, or freshmen. No seniors. Think interns! Students – Develop your skills and network outside the shadow of a senior. Make your mark. Separate divisions for juniors and sophomores/freshmen. Universities – Recruit new and younger students to grow enrollments. Demonstrate program bench strength. UTISC 2018 will host 36 universities coast to coast and will yield approximately 100 professional sales students (72 competitors + 20-30 alternates)…and 36 well connected sales faculty members! In earlier UTISC’s, these talented rising stars were chomping at the bit, exceled in the competition, brought added attention to their universities, and left the competition with internship offers and/or solid pipeline for next steps on internships (or post graduation placements). Consequently, our UTISC sponsors walked away with interns and/or top notch first look candidates for internship and/or post graduation placement. Dear Supporter of the Edward H. Schmidt School of Professional Sales,

I invite your company to become a sponsor of the 3rd annual University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition (UTISC) that will take place at the University of Toledo on February 22-24, 2018.

The UTISC benefits everyone who participates:

Businesses - Higher probability for offer acceptance and earlier identification of top talent.

Remember, UTISC juniors are next year’s seniors, and UTISC sophomores are next year’s juniors. Find them first!

To help promote stronger access with the professional sales students, we have extensive and exclusive sponsor benefits – please see page 2 for a sponsorship breakdown. If you are interested in sponsoring, please complete the included form and send it back as soon as possible. Sponsorship opportunities are limited!

We look forward to working with you!

Regards,

Branding in Huntington Sales Lab for 1 Year- Name on Door - Be seen by the UT sales students (approximately 200), prospective students/families,

recruiters, and special guests when they are in the Huntington Sales Lab to role play, pitch, take make-up exams, tour, benchmark, etc

Career FairCareer Fair will take place concurrent to the UTISC on Friday. Sponsors will be provided with one or more skirted 6’ tables and one or more chairs. The number and placement of tables and chairs is based on sponsor level. Sponsors will be provided with tickets to pass out to students who actively engage them at the Career Fair. The tickets will be entered into a drawing for the students to win center ice privileges on the Zamboni or Around the World game (or some other fun game) at the Toledo Walleye hockey game.

Coaching/Interviewing SessionsSessions are a blend of coaching and interviewing and will vary based on the goals of the sponsor and student. Three (3) coaching/interviewing blocks will take place throughout the UTISC. The number of student sessions per block for a sponsor will be determined based on overall headcount (student and sponsor) and sponsor levels. Higher level sponsors will get more coaching/interviewing sessions and more of the competitors than the alternates. When the number of students cannot be evenly distributed within the same sponsor level, those UTISC sponsors who are also ESSPS program sponsors will be given priority.

Dedicated Interview RoomRoom in one of the UTISC buildings (likely Savage Business Complex) that will be exclusively dedicated to applicable sponsors for the purpose of conducting interviews throughout the competition ensuring that the sponsor always has a private and quiet space to conduct interviews if/as needed. One room per applicable sponsor.

Email to UniversitiesEmail sent by the ESSPS to UTISC university guests welcoming them to the UTISC and providing information on the applicable sponsors’ career opportunities (content provided by sponsors).

Entertainment TicketsJoin the students and faculty at the entertainment with a portion of your team. The number of tickets is based on sponsor level and is to ensure students still have a chance to relax and that the venue remains comfortable and manageable. Sponsors get to draw, announce, and congratulate the winners of the Career Fair raffle.
