On 26th and 27th of July the children from Ladywood and Dallimore schools in reception, year 1 and 2 enjoyed the interactive show by Flying the Nest.

The children were transported to the wonderful world of British Birds through a theatrical experience.Siting in our very own bird nests we were enrolled into Hatchling College and started our journey on how to be good birders. We had great fun storytelling, singing songs, acting, and laughing through the use of puppets props and costumes. Every nest was given a bird to look after and we even got to feed them. The worms was the worst.Singing songs and doing actions helped us all to learn and remember facts about our birds. ‘The best bit was feeding the different birds in their nests and getting the worms!’ Year 1 Ladywood

Child
