She started playing local clubs in the Baltimore/DC/Philly corridor and was soon touring nationally and internationally, eventually performing sold-old shows at clubs like Birdland in New York City, Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, Feinstein’s in San Francisco, The Kennedy Center and more. When she could not get signed for a record deal - and not to be stopped from pursuing her dream - she founded her own record label, Easily Suede Music in 1988, long before the current trend for Indie artists. Suede debuts at Cotuit Center for the Arts

Cotuit Center for the Arts presents Suede on Friday, August 26, at 7:30 PM. Pop/jazz/blues vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Suede has been described by the New York press as “Like Adele meets Diana Krall meets Bette Midler—sassy, smooth, and intoxicating.” The Boston Globe calls her “Wicked exciting.” No pressure right? She was Joan Rivers’ opening act. Dare her. Come see why. She’s up to it!
