Miami Dade County Public Schools (Division of Science) and WaterVentures Partnership

In 2013, WaterVentures, Florida’s Learning Lab will be taking the story of Florida’s biodiversity, hydrogeology, and watershed stewardship on the road to Elementary students across Miami Dade County Public Schools!

This interactive, mobile learning lab will feature enriching and engaging activities that offer a hands-on look at Florida’s diverse watersheds, water conservation and recycling. WaterVentures will provide experiential learning that will inspire critical thinking and empower students to make a difference in the world around them.

The centerpiece of WaterVentures is a 53-foot semi-truck that’s been transformed into a science learning lab on-wheels! All of the environmental education exhibits have been designed by the experienced teaching team from Crystal Springs Foundation, Inc. Creative Arts Unlimited, an award winning, Florida-based design/fabrication company, was hired to team up with WaterVnetures to bring the educational ideas to life in a creative and engaging fashion.
