March 2018 NewsletterPRINCIPAL’S MESSAGEWelcome March! I’m sure by now we are all looking forward to more sunshine and warmer weather. The changing of the seasons always reminds me of God’s goodness to us. This spring, as our Heavenly Father brings renewal and new life to our world, I pray a renewal of spirit for each of you as well. This month we also celebrate the death and resurrection of our beautiful Saviour. What a wonderful gift he has given us – hope eternal! I wish each HLCA family a very HAPPY and Joyous Easter!

STUDENT SIGN-INPlease stop by the office to sign your child "in" if you are dropping them off after 8:45am or "out" if you are picking them up throughout the day before 3:20pm. This will assist us in knowing which children are on site.

CLASSROOM REMINDERS AND ANNOUNCMENTSECS/Gr. 1: ECS baggy books and popcorn books have been coming home for several weeks now. Please be sure to read with your child and sign their reading log. Also in the popcorn books, don’t forget to write a sentence using the new word of the day.

Gr 2-3: I am looking for a classroom volunteer on these dates: March 23, April 6, and 27th from 9:20-10:30am. You would be giving a spelling test, supervising silent reading and quizzing students on their Bible memory verse. Thank you in advance!Math - Gr.2- In order to strengthen math skills, please memorize addition and subtraction tables. They will be going home with your child.Gr.3- Please encourage your child to memorize their multiplication tables.
