The Luminarias List Committee began its work at the Librarian Summit in August ’06. The purpose was to develop a list of 20 excellent bilingual (Eng/Span) or Spanish language books that could be used by Dallas ISD librarians to reinforce pleasure reading for our bilingual students. In addition to the Luminarias List, the committee has compiled a Supplemental List of titles.
