Experience in delivering technical support for Theatrical or live production. Understanding and experience of rigging techniques using chain hoists. Understanding of practical theatre lighting techniques and equipment. Understanding of theatre sound and AV techniques and equipment. The ability to work at height using ladders, access and rigging equipment. Good all round experience of theatre staging and technical theatre craft. Experience of working in training or educational environments Experience of live music industry and recording studio techniques. Experience of managing staff and contractors. The ability to deliver informal training. Attainments General education to at least O Level, GCSE’s standard or equivalent. Industry recognised technical theatre qualifications / certificates. Ability to understand the requirements of companies and individuals using the space. Good computer skills including ability to use Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage clients. Disposition A self-reliant team player – ability to work on own initiative. Proactive approach to work. Ability to meet deadlines, with an ability to be flexible.
