Duties

Customer Service

Continually embed Plymouth College values to the admissions process Deliver high quality, first class service at all times Work with the SR/AM to respond to enquiries promptly and fully Provide a warm welcome to the school Under the directon of the SR/AM host occasional visits in their absence Work with the SR/AM to represent Plymouth College on events i.e. Open Morning

Administration

Manage diary of SR/AM in order to produce weekly reports to whole school staff SR/AM’s daily diary update sent to whole school staff for Admissions activity Daily meeting with SR/AM to ensure smooth admissions process Ensure the school’s admissions database (SIMS) is updated accurately and within a timely

fashion Collate and distribute visit paperwork Collate CAS documentation Liasie with School administration team, in order to facilitate smooth transition of new students

from application to enrolment. Support the SR/AM with the smooth administration of assessment days to include, but not limited

too, interviews, school tours, entrance examinations, taster day/nights Assist with the preparation, distribution and collation of the Plymouth College Joining Packs Work under the direction of the SR/AM to handle all admissions paperwork General Personal Assistant duites for the SR/AM

Committed to excellent administration Ability to recognise and demonstrate the need for confidentiality, tact and diplomacy. Able to work in a team Excellent communications skills Excellent IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets and the use of database systems Good attention to detail Comfortable with meeting new people and communicating via telephone Ability to plan and organise work Work independently Be flexible in approach

Education

Previous experience in school administration and admissions desirable. The successful applicant will be confident, articulate and able to impart the standards and aspirations of Plymouth College.

Safeguarding Children
