DAFT Workshop
12.30-2.00pm 7th October 2016
Conference Room Ashbourne Training Centre Kingsway Hospital Derby DE22 3LZ
Facilitator: Andrew SmithSystemic Thinking & Reunification
Andrew has recently completed the MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy at the University of Derby. He’s worked in social care with young people leaving care for twenty years, prior to moving in 2015 to the Child, Family and Young People’s Service of Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. Over 10,000 children and young people each year in England and Wales return from public care to live with their families. This workshop will offer Andrew’s recent research into the experiences of children and families involved in this process as a starting point to explore the connections between reunification from public care and systemic thinking and practice.
This workshop is free and both parents/carers and professionals are welcome. PPD Certificates are awarded. Come along with your lunch if you want to. No need to book. If you would like to contact us or keep up to date with DAFT news including the latest on presentations and conferences see:

The DAFT Committee meets after the Presentations from 2.00-3.00pm and we welcome new members who can offer time to plan and plot future events.
