DLT Updates:

Behavior Updates:

Step 1: Collect Common Data DORS 1.Some of the numbers are due to repetitive

behaviors. Some behaviors need to be handled in the classroom.

2.Second Grade Student 1 behavior is attention seeking. Student has had trouble adjusting to our school since the beginning. We have changed classroom but now we dealing with new behaviors. Student 2 - Only one write up. Student 3 – On a reward system with Liz Smith. Started out as a couple of day check in. We

have moved up to every 5 days. He really is a people pleaser. This seems to have reduced the number of calls.

3.Fourth Grade Students- Student 1 – This student appeared on both quarters DORS data. Attention seeking behavior.Student 2 – Formally removed from another district. Then went to home school. Has now joined us and is adapting.Student 3 – Trouble with subs.

Step 2: Analyze the DataWhat are overall strengths? Thursdays are the best days. Only one event was physical aggression.

What is/are the areas and location of the highest needs? Tuesday and Wednesday has the highest needs. Classroom is where most referrals happen.

Is there a trend? Most issues are attention seeking with disruption and defiance.

Prioritize needs for next steps - Continue to develop plans for students and supports for teachers. Also review with teachers what qualifies as classroom situation verses DORS referral. A lot of the situations start in the unsupervised bathroom visits.

Step 3: Plan Support StrategiesAs the Building Leadership Team, what strategies will we use to support the TBTs needs?PBIS Tier Plan reviewed. See attached form.

PBIS room is set up. Character store is in place for 1-4. Many items are in place. Popcorn parties have been implemented. Room is set up for movies. Staff popcorn party was held last week.

Determine length and frequency of strategies

What support / training is needed?

How will we know that the support provided is making improvement and what will be our post-assessments?Next year can we set up a standardized form for setting student of the month?

Step 4: ImplementHow will we know that the support strategies are being implemented?

Step 5: EvaluateWhat was our level of implementation?

What we learned (Successes and Obstacles)

Our recommendation: (Continue with this strategy for…, Get additional PD, Abandon, Select alternative, Adapt)
