    TraditionsThe A (pron. /e/) is the location where students participate in the long-standing True Aggie tradition.

    Aggie Ice Cream (pron. /gi as krim/), made on campus, has been a USU rite of passage since 1921.

    Events

    Traditions cont...Old Main (pron. /old men/) was built in 1890 and is USUs most iconic building. On nights of Aggie victory, Old Mains tower shines blue.

    Big Blue (pron. /bg blu/) is Utah States official mascot; look for him on the side lines or rappelling from the jumbotron.

    The HOWL (pron. /hal/) is USUs annual Halloween party, said to be the largest west of the Mississippi River.

    Day on the Quad (pron. /de n kwod/) is a day of food, games, clubs, and organizations in the shadow of Old Main.[5]
