GENERAL INFORMATION
1) Make cheques or money orders payable to: Ontario Baton Twirling Association Inc. Post-dated Club cheques are accepted, but dated no later than date of competition entry deadline.

NSF Cheques will be subject to a $25.00 service Charge. Cheque amount and service charge must be paid by cash or certified cheque no later than 1 week prior to the event. All club entries must be submitted together and paid for by one club cheque.

2) Event Description:
RISING STAR CHALLENGE (Morning)This FUN event is available for pre-competitive events, level C and BN (all ages). The focus will be to provide constructive and positive feedback to athletes at this level from Ontario’s senior elite athletes alongside certified judges. The OBTA mandate is to create positive interaction between these levels to encourage camaraderie and motivation.
RISING STAR CLINIC (Afternoon)This event is available for pre-competitive events, level C and BN (all ages).
CBTF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TESTING (Afternoon) Can have as many badges adjudicated as you wish. (Everyone welcome!)
3) Schedule of Events (subject to change):
9:00 AM RISING STAR CHALLENGE – Pre-Competitive Events, Levels C and BN athletes (all ages)
12:30 PM PROVINCIAL LUNCH - Everyone welcome! Come and enjoy lunch with fellow athletes from your province. (Bring your own bagged lunch.)
1:00 PM RISING STAR CLINIC – Pre-Competitive Events, Level C and BN (all ages)
1:00 PM CBTF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TESTING - Can have as many badges adjudicated as you wish. (Everyone welcome!)
4) CBTF Rules and Regulations will be in effect and strictly enforced.
5) Judges’ decisions are final. Tabulated results are final 48 hours after the completion of the event.
6) All athletes must be registered members in good standing with CBTF/OBTA for the competition season. CBTF membership numbers must be indicated on the entry form.
7) Athletes must declare any medical support/brace necessary for injury prevention as deemed necessary by a physician. Copy of medical certificate must accompany entry.
8) The event director reserves the right to make last minute changes. Notice of changes will be provided to everyone affected.
9) Special Needs lane will be made available on request
10) Athletes’ Participation/Gym Fee – All athletes will be required to pay a participation/gym fee with entry. No fee will be charged at the door and one set system per athlete will be provided for each athlete that day.
11) Medical assistance/ First Aid will be on-site.
