Students will learn and understand how to write/ balance chemical equations as well be able to identify the 6 different types of chemical reactions.

Students will be able to write net ionic equations as well as half reactions for redox reactions. (honors)

Khan academy video on oxidation numbers. Practice writing oxidation numbers on powerpoint slides.
