In this Video We will go over some of the essential basics that you will need to know about Workday Student.

2 Workday - Student is your one stop shop for Admissions, Advising,

Registration, Financial Aid and Financial Information as a student at PBSC. Before you get started on your journey, we would like to share some highlights with you.

3 This is your Workday Student Homepage. Let’s take a tour of some

of the items you will use the most.

4 First, if you look at the upper left hand side of your screen, you will

see the PBSC logo. When you click on this logo, you will be able to access your Workday Homepage from any screen within Workday.

5 Next, you will see your Workday Inbox, here and here. This is

where you will find Action Items relevant to you as a student.

6 Whether they be Admissions or Financial Aid related your inbox Action Items will guide you along your way.

7 For this example, we will click the Inbox icon on the upper right of

the screen to see detailed Inbox Items. Spanish: En este ejemplo, haremos clic en el icono de Inbox en la

8 Workday, as opposed to PantherWeb, is a system that requires

YOU to respond to Action Items. These Action Items will be delivered to your Workday Inbox. Action Items are things such as,

Admissions Requirements, Residency Declaration, Financial Aid Eligibility, New Student Orientation, and much more.

9 Under the Actions tab, you can click on and complete any Action

Items that need your attention. If you want to see Action Items that you have completed over the last 30 days, click on the Archive Tab.

10 When completing Action Items in your Inbox, we provide you with

a few tools to make the process as easy as possible.

Many Action Items will have fields for you to fill in directly and then Submit right from that screen.

11 If you need to fill out a form on an external website to complete an

Action Item, we will provide you with a link that you can click on

12 Also, if you need to provide PBSC with a document, the Action Item

allows you the opportunity to directly upload your document and submit it to us digitally. This can be as simple as attaching a picture of the document you took with your phone or uploading a

PDF.

13 Be sure to check your Inbox regularly for any Action Items that

may be awaiting your attention, as these are vital steps. It is best

to check the inbox DAILY during your Admissions, Onboarding and Financial Aid Eligibility periods, each semester.

14 Now, we will click on the PBSC logo on the upper left of the screen

to return to the homepage so we can review a few more Workday

features.

15 Beside the Inbox Icon on the upper right of the screen is the

Notifications Icon. By clicking this icon, you can see any informative notifications that you have received.

hacer click en este icono, podrá ver cualquier notificación informativa que has recibido.

16 Next, when you look at the upper right-hand side of your screen,

you will see either your picture or a cloud. When you click on this

icon, you will be able to access your student profile from any page within Workday.

17 On this same Homepage, you will see a box labeled Applications. This includes Apps, such as Finances and Academics, that you will

find helpful as you move forward through your journey here at PBSC.

18 The Academics app contains items you can directly access here

such as….Holds, Academic Progress, Academic Pan, Registration Requirements, Current Schedule, Support Network, and more.

19 The Finances app contains items you can directly access such as:

Financial Aid Awards to Accept or Decline, Financial Aid Action

20 Certain pages within your Apps are available for you to print. In these cases locate and click on the printer symbol on the upper

right of the page.

21 A PFD of your information will be generated. You can save this to

your device to be printed or emailed as needed. Sometimes it may take a moment to generate your PDF. If your PDF does not immediately come up to be downloaded, check your Notifications

Icon for when your document will be available to download.
