In dark and complex places, the human eyequickly comes to its performance limit. Here,technical auxiliaries, such as thermal cameras,can visualize those things that are usuallyinvisible to the human eye. Every body above theabsolute zero radiates heat. This heat radiation isonly visible for the human being from somehundred degrees on, e.g. red-hot metal.By using highest-quality sensors, it is possible todetect this heat radiation in ordinarysurroundings. Whether searching for missingpersons in obscure areas, finding persons e.g. inwater or observing targets in absolute darkness.The heat radiated by the target person can not behidden on the thermal image. As only temperature differences are decisive tocapture images, a thermal camera can be usedfor visual 24-hour monitoring independently oflight, weather, etc. The target persons will alwayshave other temperatures than the surroundingareas and can thus be detected. An earlydetection of excessive heat developments is noproblem. Areas and machines at risk of fires are thusoptimally monitored. The PKI 5195 is a thermal camera combined witha customary surveillance camera. Thecombination of both techniques offersconsiderable advantages when operating thesurveillance camera. It can be used in totaldarkness and even when there is smoke, fog, andheavy snowfall. The camera is also not blinded bybright light sources and thus enables continuoussurveillance at day and night. PKI does not guarantee the suitability of equipment for the purchaser's intended application. PKIalso excludes liability to the purchaser as well as to third parties.

6) DeliveryPurchaser's requested delivery schedule will be met by PKI to the best of its ability. Delivery dates arequoted to the best of PKI´s knowledge based on the period of time likely to be required for delivery, but areonly binding if this expressly is stated in writing. Partial deliveries are always allowed and count asindividual transactions.

7) Delay in deliveriesCircumstances and events beyond our control, such as lack of raw materials, interruption in production, offorce majeure etc. whether occurring with us or with our suppliers, release us from the obligation to supplywithin the tie stipulated. In such cases, we are entitled to either withdraw from the contract or to postponedelivery to a later date. The buyer shall not be entitled to claim damage for delayed delivery or non-fulfilmentof orders.

8) ShipmentsShipments are invariable made for account and risk of the buyer, even if CIF-conditions might have beenarranged. We are not liable for any damage caused after the goods have left our premises. In default of anyspecial arrangement, we insureconsignment at the expense of the buyer, though without assuming any obligation to do so.

9) PricesAll prices indicuted are “ex works” and do not include packing, freight and insurance charges for equipmentshipped overseas.The purchaser is responsible for any further transportation method. Additional charges relatinq to freight,insurance, handling, documentation, stamp duties, import duties or tariffs have to be born by the purchaser.In any case, where PKI supplies their goods, the INCO-terms - as per latest edition - shall be considered asbeing the basis of delivery.

10) PaymentPKI only supplies goods to firms abroad against an irrevocable letter of credit issued by customer´s bankand being confirmed by a first-class German bank, or on 100% prepaid cash-in-advance payment into PKI´snamed bank-account. In every case payment is to be made in EURO-currency.

11) GuaranteePKI only warrants for new products that are limited in use because of wrong material or insufficientworkmanship within a period of 12 months from date of shipment.

Identifiable defects have to be indicated in written form and within two weeks from date of shipment.

Not identifiable defects have to be indicated in written form at detection, within than the warranty period of12 months starting from date of shipment.

We shall not be liable for any damaged due to improper handlng, incorrect application or the like.

12) Limitation of Liability The company shall not be liable for any claim arising out of the performance, non-performance, delay indelivery of or defect in the goods nor for any special, indirect, economic or consequential loss or damagehowsoever arising or howsoever caused (including loss of profit or loss of revenue) whether fromnegligence or otherwise in connection with the supply, functioning or use of the goods. Any liability of thecompany shall in any event be limited to the license fees paid by the client in the year in which the event ofdefault arises.

Nothing herein shall limit either party´s liability for death or personal injury arising from the provennegligence by itself or its employees or agents.

The client shall fully indemnify the company against any liability to third parties arising out of the client´s useof the goods.

13) Legal Statute and Place of JurisdictionAll cases of disagreement arising from PKI´s transactions with customers are exclusively subject to the lawof the Federal Republic of Germany. In all cases of dispute with customers local jurisdiction solely lies withthe Lübeck Courts but PKI is also entitled to take legal action at the place of the orderer.

14) CopyrightPKI reserve all rights of copyright, publication or reproduction of any part of thiscatalogue whatsoever.
