About MeI am a creative and expressive director and choreographer. I generate an artistic safe space where all members of the process feel acknowledged. I thrive on collaboration and specialize in developing and shaping new plays, but also have a soft spot in my heart for Musical Theatre.
Experience Unturning, Venus and Adonis Festival; New York, NYA musical adaptation of the Thomas Hardy novel Return of the Native. I worked with the
playwright/ composer to help shape this new work. Cast of six. (Remounting 8/16 at Secret Theatre)
The Last Rightboy, Eager Reads; New York, NYA staged reading with a small, intimate cast. I was able to help playwright Seamus O’Connor edit
and develop this Ireland-focused, hero story. Drama with light moments.
A Stranger Here Myself, Ensemble Atria/ Eager Risk; New York, NYWorked with playwright Rich Orloff on the first production of this sassy, one-act comedy.
Ensemble- based cast of four. **Winner Best Director and Best Play, Shoebox Festival 2015
ENVOY, Ensemble Atria; New York, NYAn intense drama, heated with physical dialogue/ movement. Ensemble-based cast of twelve.
Show had a different ending every night. Directed and Choreographed.
Snowhead Junction, Ensemble Atria; New York, NYEdgy, modern work with large cast. I was able to give the story focus and a more consistent story
arc as I worked on developing this new piece with the playwright, Dan Kitsch.
Love Me Extinct, Dragonfly Poet Productions; Dallas, TXMusic video for a regional company in Texas. This video had several minutes of strong female
solo dancing as well two minutes of ensemble dance. Directed and Choreographed.
Alice’s Wonderland, OhLook Performing Arts Center; Dallas, TXA quirky take on Alice in Wonderland. The cast had over 25 members and I used bodies to create
stage pictures and the “scenery” of Wonderland. Directed and Choreographed.
Grease, OhLook Performing Arts Center; Dallas, TXOriginal choreography that contained the doo-wap vibe but also had enough contemporary moves
to keep the audience interested. Musical. Large Cast. Assistant Directed ed and Choreographed.
