DENTAL CLINICDue to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in Italy and in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus and protect the health and welfare of its beneficiary
population, effectively immediately, the Vicenza Army Dental Clinic at Caserma Ederle is temporarily suspending all routine dental appointments.
Routine, or elective, appointments are those that do not require immediate or urgent care and can be postponed until risk of transmission of COVID-19
is lower. Elective care includes: routine cleanings, fillings, or restorative work, including pediatric and orthodontic care.
The Vicenza Dental Clinic will, however continue to see patients on an “emergency” or “readiness” basis with readiness being related to a Soldier’s
ability to deploy.
For more information please contact the Vicenza Army Dental Clinic directly at: 0444-61-9210.

Fitness and nutrition have long been goals for service members and are especially important now to combat stress. The link below lists foods that actually reduce stress and gives brief and interesting facts about the foods: https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/nutrition/11-foods-that-can-actually-relieve-stress/ar-AAH92Uk?ocid=spartanntp.
The American Heart Association provides typical methods of reducing stress, but has a section on positive self-talk. Negative self-talk increases stress while positive self-talk helps you calm down and control stress. Positive self-talk contributes to improved self-esteem, relationships and productivity. https://www.heart.org/en/healthy-living/healthy-lifestyle/stress-management/3-tips-to-manage-stress.
