VGB KELI 2010
Conference Electrical Engineering, C&I and IT in Power Plantswith technical exhibition
May 4 to 6, 2010MARITIM International Congress Center Dresden
www.vgb.org
Conference Electrical Enginee-ring, C&I and IT in Power Plants
Every two years, operators, manufacturers, insurers, authorities and experts from VGB PowerTech e. V. are invited to intensify their exchange of experience, find-ings and ideas in presentations and extensive discus-sion of current topics in electrical engineering, I&C and information technology. With the presence of our numerous associates and exhibitors from these fields, the event will be an international forum with the best possible conditions for establishing and extending business and personal contacts.
Presentations by operators will be supplemented by exhibitors and extensive contributions from manufac-turers. The time-proven concept offers both user pres-entations and a trade fair setting which is popular with visitors from home and abroad.
The core topics of this conference will be:
• Innovations in power generation
• Presentation of research results in the field
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical and I&C systems
• Current experience in project implementation
• Implementation of new regulatory requirements (SIL, BetrSichV)
• Life time extension of generation plants
• Power generation with renewable energies
• Students’ forum on future opportunities in the energy industry
An attractive background programme will be arranged to complement the interesting presentations and dis-cussions.
We are pleased that we can once again count on the support of the VDE-ETG and VDI. A forum will be or-ganized for the young engineers of tomorrow, with sponsored travel, accommodation, board and confer-ence documents for students.
The programme committee and VGB are pleased to invite you to the KELI 2010 in Dresden.
Essen, January 2010
