Veterans Memorial Park Pensacola is home to the only permanent "half scale" replica of the Viet Nam Memorial. The “Wall South” was dedicated in October 24, 1992. Today there are 58,318 names of veterans
engraved on the Wall, who paid the ultimate price serving during the Vietnam War.
Since the dedication, the Park has grown with several additional monuments,including the WWI, WWII, Korean War, Marine Aviation Memorial Tower,Submarine Veterans Memorial, TheMinuteman Memorial, Purple Heart
Monument, Monument to ChildMonument, Monument to Children and the Global War on Terror Memorial.
The Veterans Memorial Park Foundation of Pensacola, Inc. has accepted theforever challenge from the City of
Pensacola Government body to createan ongoing maintenance andan ongoing maintenance and
development program for the Park,which in turn will provide pristine and
hallowed grounds forever, for all who have served in the United States Military for this
great country.
