July 2, on a first-come, first-served basis, we will have veterans come into Frontier Justice Lee’s Summit and Kansas City, KS locations. The entrants will shoot for free and they will do our program and target, 20 rounds each target. Each participant will shoot the same course. Five winners from round one from each location will have a shoot off with 20 more rounds then a first, second and third place winner will be declared in the Veteran Freedom Shootout. Interested entrants must call and preregister in order to secure their spot. Walk-ins will be welcome, but not guaranteed a position in the tournament. Veterans must supply their own firearm or rent a firearm from Frontier Justice for a reduced fee of $5. Ear protection and targets will be provided. Eye protection is up to the entrant but must be worn. Any handgun of any caliber .380 and above is allowed. No long guns. On July 3, we will conduct a “top 10” competition at the Kansas City, KS location where each winner will advance until a grand prize, second and third place winners are declared by the official RSO of the tournament. Hornady is generously donating all ammo used by veterans during the competition.
