“Evan Schiller has a unique perspective on photographing a golf course. Watching him work at sunrise, capturing the first

light as it crests on just the right angle over the new mown grass, you get the sense of a true professional that knows exactly

what he wants. And then to witness the delight of guests seeing his beautiful golf photos in the art gallery, you see that he

actually knows exactly what they want.” —Neal Hotelling Director of Licensing and Special Projects • Pebble Beach Company

“After being aware of and appreciating Evan’s work for several years, when the time came to update photography of our three courses, we turned to him

and have been very pleased that we did. Thanks to him, we have signature shots that are spectacular yet authentic, the two key elements in what we

needed him to achieve. Aside from his keen attention to detail, knowledge of golf and golf courses, and strong photographic capabilities, he is easy to work

with, responsive and accommodating. We look forward to using his photos for years to come.” —Merry Tipton Director of Marketing Communications • Sea Island

“Have you ever found yourself on a golf course in deep appreciation of the amazing beauty enveloping you? I’m speaking of a view that

extends beyond the course’s architecture to include its natural surroundings with the extraordinary light and cloud formations that make

you gasp at the beauty of the moment. Have you ever wished you could capture it? This late afternoon shot of Royal County Down just

before sunset was one of those moments and one of the reasons I feel so fortunate to be able to photograph golf courses.” —Evan Schiller

“I can honestly say the money we spent on Evan wasn’t an expense - it was an investment and it might be some of the best money our club has ever

allocated! The world-class quality of the photographs speak for themselves, and are only exceeded by the professionalism and accommodation displayed

by Evan. His photographs helped re-introduce our restored Wissahickon course to the world (Tillinghast’s home course and design), while his photos of

our Militia Hill and St. Martins courses presented them in a light not seen by even 50-year members! Simply put, he’s the best golf course photographer in

the world and is now a lifetime friend of The Philadelphia Cricket Club!” —Jim Smith Jr. PGA Director of Golf • The Philadelphia Cricket Club

“In updating our media kit for the 2012 Ryder Cup, Medinah Country Club retained golf course photographer, Evan Schiller, to capture images of our famed No. 3 Course.

After considering several other high caliber golf course photographers, we chose Evan, based not only on his excellent portfolio of existing work, but also based on his

communication skills, follow through, determination and willingness in every way to work with us, around hectic schedules and a busy golf season. Evan’s skill, and the

work he produced for Medinah, is exceptional. Evan was very thoughtful in his approach, not only offering updated traditional and time-honored views of the holes, but

also providing views that captured the elegance and beauty of the hole in a new way. Evan’s work exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased to display his

photography. Working with Evan was truly a pleasure and I highly recommend him.” —Danza Duffner Director of Communications • Medinah Country Club

“Evan Schiller’s photographs are more than just beautiful images of golfing landscapes. His photography brings to

life the details of a golf course and draws the viewer into the image as though he were on the course itself. His ability

to capture spectacular images from a golfer’s perspective is particularly impressive. Evan is a golfer’s photographer.

“Evan is a pleasure to work with, easy-going and professional. He has a keen eye for detail and a passion for showcasing our courses always in the

best way possible. He constantly finds shots to portray extraordinary features. He brings a fresh new approach and shares his own exceptional vision

of golf photography. One of his aerial images shot with his drone at Cabot Cliffs has become our hero shot. That image alone has sprung much

excitement amongst our social media following and is used in a lot of our marketing campaigns and resort collaterals. It’s a jaw-dropper. We have

already booked Evan to come back next season.” —Ben Cowan-Dewar Managing Partner • Cabot Links

“Having viewed photos of Greywolf Golf Course’s “Cliffhanger” 6th hole for years, I always had an eye on shooting this beautiful place in Panorama, British Columbia,

Canada. One day I received a call from The Columbia Valley Golf Trail commissioning me to shoot all their courses, as well as Greywolf. The Columbia Valley Golf

Trail is comprised of eight courses set along the Columbia River and surrounded by mountains on both sides – quite a project to undertake in such an extraordinary

setting. The highlight of the trip was shooting Greywolf Golf Course, set high in the mountains about 40 minutes from the valley. The 6th hole is perhaps one of the

most spectacular par 3’s I’ve ever had the chance to photograph. With the ever changing light, I was able to capture an array of images of this hole at various times

of the day, but this morning shot that I took just after the sun crested the mountains was my favorite.” —Evan Schiller

“I was originally commissioned by LINKS Magazine to shoot Desert Highlands Golf Club and then asked by the club to stay an extra two days to shoot for them.

This shot of the first hole is my favorite of the entire shoot. As you drive up to the first tee there’s an anticipation and curiosity of what’s ahead and over the hill.

Upon reaching the crest of the hill and walking onto the first tee you are greeted with this amazing view. What a way to start the round. This shot was taken late

on my third day of shooting, and as you can see, the cloud formations were spectacular. There are numerous teeing areas and thus many different angles from

which I wanted to photograph this hole. I had to act quickly as the sun was setting and soon would disappear behind the clouds on the horizon.” —Evan Schiller

“Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” I’d say this applies to a golf course

photographer as well. I’m often asked how I manage to capture some of the dramatic shots I do. Sometimes it’s a bit of luck, but more often it’s anticipating a moment

that might occur and being in position in case it does. With regard to this shot of the 2nd at Royal Aberdeen in Scotland, we arrived at the golf course prior to sunrise

amidst pouring rain. At about sunrise we began to make our way out to the 2nd green which was about a 10 minute walk. We had no cart for this shoot. It was still

raining when we arrived and all we could do was wait and hope for a break. After about a half hour it finally came, and went equally as fast.” —Evan Schiller

“Evan has photographed iconic images of our golf courses over three sessions. Whether shooting from the air or the ground

he is able to capture the topography of the land that defines our six golf courses. Always willing to go the extra mile to deliver

more than we asked for, he has become a treasured and valued partner.” —Bev Berardo Marketing Coordinator • Reynolds Plantation

“The 14th hole at Quaker Ridge is a AW Tillinghast design with the bunkers up the left side and then his classic cross bunkering. After a restoration by Gil Hanse to

return Quaker Ridge to as close as possible to its original design, I was commissioned by the club to capture photography of the changes to be used for their website,

clubhouse prints and 100th anniversary book. The only way I saw fit to shoot this hole and capture all of the beautiful bunker work done by Gil Hanse and his crew was

from a 50 foot lift and take it up as high as it would go. The only problem was the beautiful day suddenly turned overcast so I had to do a bit of waiting. Finally the sun

appeared for a few moments and I was able to capture this wonderful par 5 with some great afternoon light.” —Evan Schiller

“I was commissioned for this shoot by Boyne Golf USA to shoot 8 of their 10 courses. The plan was that I would spend 1 day at each course, which meant

I had to schedule at least two weeks to be in Northern Michigan to allow for any potential weather delays. As it turned out, we got phenomenal weather

and I was able to complete the shoot in 9 days. To gain the necessary elevation we incorporated ladders, lifts and a drone in the shoot. The highlight of

the trip was attaching my Hasselblad H3D-50 to a drone built and operated by Aerial Imagery Works out of Detroit. I don’t believe that’s ever been done

before and it allowed us to capture some amazing shots, including this late afternoon image of the 7th of The Links at Bay Harbor Golf Club. Those dark

clouds you see formed suddenly and helped to create this dramatic scene.” —Evan Schiller

“When it came time to research golf photographers for our newly completed Tom Fazio designed Corales Golf Course, we reviewed several

internationally acclaimed experts. After careful inspection of various portfolios and a conversation about the photographer’s vision, we narrowed

the search down to Evan Schiller. His easy-going, professional demeanor, unique capture of hole by hole images and prompt return of completed

work truly sets Evan apart from all competition. We are completing our third golf course shortly and will contract Evan to shoot this spectacular

track as well.” —Michael J. Fraser Executive Director of Marketing • PUNTACANA Resort & Club

“After an extensive redo by architect Chet Williams of all the bunkers and greens I was commissioned by the club to photograph the renovations.

Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas is a fairly flat golf course so we decided to employ a lift to gain some elevation. I wanted to be able to capture

this late day image of the 12th hole from over the teeing area and include the river, wall and those two trees to the right. The only way to achieve

this perspective was to extend the 40 foot lift out over the teeing area as far as it would go so that I could get as close to the water as possible.

In the end, it was my favorite image of the shoot.” —Evan Schiller

“There are some courses that are best photographed from the air in order to capture the true essence of the course and its surroundings. The Jack Nicklaus

designed Punta Espada Golf Club in the Dominican Republic is one of those places. We took off at sunrise in a Robinson44 helicopter to begin shooting. A great

pilot understands a photographer’s needs and can masterfully position and hover the craft where needed. For this particular photograph I had the pilot hover the

helicopter over the water just behind the 18th green so I could get an array of shots. I specifically wanted to capture a photo with the waves crashing over the

rocks. And I almost forgot to mention, since you can’t shoot through glass, it’s essential that you remove the helicopter’s doors before you fly.” —Evan Schiller

“Generally, the holes of the golf courses in the Low Country of South Carolina are flat. For this shot of the 17th hole of the West Course at Belfair Plantation

I wanted to get up high enough so that I could capture not only the water in the foreground but the marsh and river in the distance. Sensing that this

perspective would be best moments after sunrise, I positioned the forty foot lift on the road just behind the back tee. The wonderful light only lasts briefly

so I had to be ready when it came. It’s one of my favorite images I’ve captured of any course in the Low Country.” —Evan Schiller

breathtaking! Evan also takes the Par 3 at the TPC Stadium, better known as ‘Alcatraz’ and gives it more life with his images than most golf professionals

“Before Evan Schiller ever became a world-class photographer, he was a world-class golfer, and it is clearly displayed in his photography work. He knows how to

capture what we want to remember from our golf experiences. I have been enjoying Evan’s Golfshots calendars for years now. I have one in my office, one at home

and I give the calendars away to friends, family and business associates during the holidays. It has become a rewarding tradition. The calendars are so well loved, it

would greatly disappoint many if I ever stopped gifting them. Each month it is literally difficult to turn the page and leave behind a wonderful photo, but I am always

awed by the breathtaking golf scape of the new month. Evan’s Golfshots calendar is the most elegant and sophisticated golf calendar on the market, I proudly give

Evan and his work my highest recommendation.” —Aaron R. Stewart MBA, PhD • KEYGLOBAL, LLC
