4 Perform loopback test

• At the command prompt ping the IP address of the host to be checked as indicated in step 1

1 Check IP Configuration

Double click on the computer to be checked

At the command prompt type “ipconfig”, the press enter

Right click on the host icon

Select ‘Configs’ Enter correct IP

4 Test connectivity to the gateway

From the host machine command prompt screen, ping the IP address of the gateway router

Right click the device, then right click on the port of the cable to be removed. Select ‘Yes’ at the Remove pop-up
