• At the command prompt type: ‘ipconfig’

4 Test connectivity to the gateway

From the host machine command prompt screen, ping the IP address of the gateway router

5 Check cables Visually check that the cable in installed and connected to the correct location (Chart 5)

To remove cable go to Step 6

To Install a cable go to step 7

6 Remove a cable

Right click the device, then right click on the port of the cable to be removed. Select ‘Yes’ at the Remove pop-up

Proceed to Step 7 for installation of a cable
