Stock Numbers/ carrying capacity

The stock carrying capacity of my farm in Kaikoura is quite high due to the topography of the land being so flat and with some steep land as well. My carrying capacity of stock on this farm is two per acre so equals a maximium of 3000 stock units on the farm. The type of stock I'm using on my farm are Red deer and wapiti. The Red deer will primarily be farmed for their meat where as the Wapiti will be farmed for both Velvet and venison. The Red deer weights for sending away to the works are: Stage- Adult weight over 200kgsHind- Adult weight 90-120kgs.The wapiti will be used for velvet because they have a thicker velvet than the Red deer.
