The production of Dallan machines for External Blinds (Venetian Blinds) starts in the 1990s, and in the year 2000 the production range was completed with lines and automated modular systems for the assembly of the slats into the complete Venetian blind window.

The stand alone system that starts from the package of cut-to-length and punched slats and assembles the finished window with the guide pins in the string tape or in the loop tape.

The production starts from a coil of painted aluminium (thickness 0.4-0.6mm). The decoiler can be vertical (max bearing 1000kg) or horizontal (max bearing 2000Kg).

The heart of a quality blind curtain is the accurate design and rigidity of the slat, as well as the set of rollers in high alloy steel.

At the end of the Combi unit, the Dallan

patented precision straightener guarantees the optimal rigidity of the slat with simple adjustments.

The start-stop punching and cutting system processes all the holes and features for the fixing of the guiding pins, for the lifting tape and the fixing of the profile to the string tape.

The stacking device packs the profiles in the form of an accurate stack that is then picked up by the operator or by means of a robotized system.

NSD DPTC NSD DSC

The Dallan® NSD buffering station is made up of multiple conveyors: it equi-librates the speed of the rollformer and the next processing station.

Dallan® DPTC riveting device for the guiding pins is formed by two vibrators that convey the left and right pins in the correct position.

The system can work with mechanical riveting of the metal pins (or with ultrasonic welding).

The threading unit DSC consists of a basement where 5 moving shuttles move automatically to the programmed posi-tions. Each shuttle includes the patented system for threading the C or F profile in the string tape, at extremely high speed.

The Dallan® NSD buffering station is made up of multiple conveyors, that equilibrates the speed of the rollformer and the speed of the next processing station.

Dallan® DPTCZ riveting device for the guiding pins is formed by two vibrators that convey the left and right guiding pins in the correct position for the mechanical riveting (or the ultrasonic welding).

Dallan® NAC buffering station takes the profiles with pins to the DZC unit.

Dallan® DZC patented system for the fixing of the profiles to the loop tape, by means of side hooks. This module is composed of a steel basement on which 5 shuttles move in the programmed position. In this Dallan patented system, the firing of all the hooks and the connection to the loop tape takes place simultaneously: this makes the process extremely fast and reliable, with minimal work in progress.

This system starts from a package of cut-to-length and punched profiles positioned by the operator on the DALLAN DV1 loading manipulator. Suction cups pick the profiles one by one and position them on a motorized roller table.

The Dallan® DSC High Speed system, threads the slats in to the string tape, and is capable of up to 22 inserted slats per minute.

C or F profiles are then conveyed to the station where it is possible to rivet the guiding pins, mechanically or with ultra-sonic welding (for plastic pins) with the DALLAN DPTC.

The compact layout of the DALLAN® Package to Window Systems and of each module, makes it easy to adapt the machine even to a small factory layout; at the same time the high output rate makes it extremely interesting for producers requiring high production volumes.

The DV1 machine is used in off-line systems. It is a CNC actuated system with suction cups, which delicately pick out the Venetian blind profiles from a bundle and take them to the feeder.

Z profiLeSIf you already have a Dallan production system for S and Z slats, this system can complete the automation of your production process, easily and with a compact layout. In this system, the operator starts by positioning the package of

profiles in the entry of the machine. The manipulator, by means of vacuum suckers, inserts the profiles into the processing stations.

The patented Dallan® DZC system is the high speed solution for S and Z slats: simultaneously it shoots the side heads and fixes them to the loop tape. It consists of a base where 5 shuttles move in the position defined by the program.Each shuttle holds two automatic vibrators for feeding the steel hooks, then the hooks are fired and closed to the loop tape in the same operation.

The Dallan® DPTCZ for fixing the guiding pins, on Z and S profiles, can operate mechanically by riveting the metal pins to the profile, or with ultrasonic welding in case of plastic pins.

The mechanisms for the lifting and inclination of the external blind are assembled in a “U” shaped profile called internal box. This profile, calibrated to host the standard components such as motors and gears, is produced by a Dallan® T4 Precision Rollformer that integrates the punching and cutting units, so that the profile comes out of the system cut to the exact length, complete with all the features and it is ready for the assembly phase.The system includes decoiler with horizontal axis, rollforming, punching unit and discharge bench.

At Dallan® a team of seven software engineers constantly develop the D48 software for the configuration and production of the External blinds windows. The software can deliver easy pre-set configuration that includes standard parameters that can be set by the operator such as the width of the window number of slats and position of the holes.

The process tables with all the parameters, called job lists, can be received from existing ERP software via Ethernet or via an USB key using the Dallan® standard record format.

On the machine HMI side, our advanced graphic software makes it easy for the operator to control each single part of the machines.

For the servicing of the machine, with the Ubiquity remote service, our software and electrical engineers can intervene remotely and be at your side whenever it is required.
