Our Collective Mission
Steps for Autism raises awareness, shares knowledge about autism spectrum disorders, and provides an inclusive community oriented event for all. Steps for Autism creates a community opportunity for supporting one cause through many hands.
The mission of the Autism Society of Washington is to transformcommunities throughout Washington State to improve the lives of
individuals with autism. The goals of the Spokane Chapter are lifelong community access, family support, public awareness, advocacy and
collaboration with other groups.
Northwest Autism Center exists to build, facilitate, and coordinate comprehensive services for those with autism spectrum disorders through the lifespan using community based approaches.
The ISAAC Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of its region’sautism community through educational, emotional and financial support programs so that individuals with autism and their families are given the
tools needed to be active, secure and engaged members of our community.

The day begins with a 5k run/walk starting and ending at the Forestry Shelter.
Throughout the event there will be information booths, exhibitors, vendors, food, music, super heroes, activities, and games.
We have plenty of activities for the little ones and big ones in the Family Zone to keep everyone en-tertained, interested, and challenged.
