They also include CD transcripts and useful photocopiable activity sheets. A clear list of songs, rhymes/chants and stories, together with their page reference has been added at the end of the programme. Last but not least, there are good number of masks and boardgames to be used at the discretion of the teacher. Activity book: The colourful activity book has 54 pages. It includes 12 pages for parents with transcripts and translations of songs and rhymes. 3 CDs: A 70 minute Child CD to accompany the activity books. SONG:El zoo

The children can move round in a circle to the chorus and stand to do actions or children can

be divided into 4 different groups for animals and each group comes into middle of the circle and

does the actions for their verse whilst the others stay in the circle.

C.STORY:Milo and Mapi at the zoo

GAMES:Los animales – Put animal images in 4 corners of the room. Children move around the room

to the music of El zoo. When the music stops they all go and stand next to an animal picture.

The teacher turns his/her back and calls out an animal. All the children standing by that animal

are out and must sit by the teacher.

As numbers decrease, remove animal images until 2 are left and the child left at the end is

the winner.

Los monos – Children pretend to be monkeys and follow Milo’s instructions. For example: toca

la cabeza, toca las palmas, toca los pies, salta, camina etc.

When Milo says ‘Chsss duermo’ children must freeze until Milo says ‘Despiértate’.

Extension: if a child moves they must sit by the teacher.
