brief: built chapter during second semester at Poly.The residents of Perquin suffer annual illness anddisease related to inadequate wastewater disposal.We are building a wastewater treatment installation theEPA calls a Constructed Wetlands. Our goals for this system are to:

- treat grey water in a 70-home area- improve the health of these residents- improve the health of the land- instill the importance of adequate wastewater disposal- use this system as a pilot to encourage more positive change

We are currently working on a technical proposal, and will travel to El Salvador in January 2014 for a full andfinal installation.
