Profile
• A PUJ, Ford Fiera, with 19 passengers (including the driver) and with plate no. AAD 784 was
heading toward Brgy. Abatan, Buguias, Benguet from Natubleng, Buguias, Benguet when it suddenly fell off a ravine approximately 80 meters.
• The driver, Mr. Ambrocio Menzi Jr, 42 years old and a resident of Poblacion Buguias, Benguet lost control of the vehicle due to sudden rain and foggy road.
• 13 (thirteen) victims were declared dead. (9 (nine) dead on arrival at Lutheran Hospital, 1 (one) DOA at Abatan Emergency Hospital, 1 (one) DOA at Benguet General Hospital, 1 (one) died along the way to La Trinidad and 1 died at Baguio General Hospital)
• 2 (two) are presently admitted at Baguio General Hospital and 3 (three) at Benguet General Hospital (BeGH).
• 1 (one) passenger, Jerry B. Atas was unhurt as he jumped out the PUJ before it fell of the ravine

BUGUIAS MPS • Conducted follow-up investigation • Conducted rescue, retrieval and transport of victims •
CIVILIAN VOLUNTEERS • Assisted the Police officers in the rescue, retrieval and transport operations.
LUTHERAN HOSPITAL
• Provided emergency medical treatment and transportation services to the victims ABATAN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL,
• Provided emergency medical treatment and transportation services to the victims BENGUET GENERAL HOSPITAL (BeGH)
• Provided medical assistance to the referred injured victims.
BAGUIO GENERAL HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER (BGHMC) • Provided medical assistance to the injured victims.
DOH-CHD • Provided lists and latest status of casualties • Coordinated with Abatan Emergency Hospital, Lutheran Hospital BeGH and BGHMC
PDRRMO Benguet and Buguias MDRRMO
• Coordinated with Abatan Emergency Hospital, Lutheran Hospital, Begh and BGHMC on the status of casualties

• Governor Nestor Fongwan directed the PDRRMO and MDRRMO to extend medical services to the injured victims who were referred at Benguet General Hospital.
