It is no surprise that most major repairs are needed after the original factory warranty has expired, which means you will have to deal with all the inconvenience, time, energy and expense of those repairs.

Depending on the age and mileage of your vehicle, you can purchase up to 100,000 miles of coverage.

The Vehicle Protection Plan – Technology Coverage begins on the purchase date and expires according to the term and mileage selected, whichever occurs first, and will include a deductible of $100. You can select from a national network of over 6,000 authorized service centers or any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.

RENTAL CAR COVERAGEReimbursement up to $35 per day for up to 10 days per covered mechanical breakdown.

TOWING COVERAGEPayment of up to $75 in towing charges per covered mechanical breakdown.

TRAVEL COVERAGEIf you’re more than 100 miles from home when you experience a covered mechanical breakdown, payment of up to $100 per day, up to $500 per occurrence, for food and lodging.

IMPROVED RESALESubject to a fee, each plan is fully transferable to a subsequent owner, making your car more appealing to potential buyers.

FINANCINGThe cost of the selected plan can be included in the financing of your vehicle.

OVER 6,000 SERVICE CENTERS NATIONWIDEReceive service at greater than 6,000 authorized service centers or any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.

NATIONAL COVERAGEEnjoy peace of mind with a Fidelity Warranty Services Vehicle Protection Plan - Technology Coverage knowing that you are covered anywhere in the U.S., its territories or possessions, or Canada.

DIRECT PAYMENTParticipating dealers can be paid directly for authorized repairs. You do not have to pay and wait for reimbursement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This optional Vehicle Protection Plan – Technology Coverage will not pay or reimburse for mechanical breakdowns caused by misuse, abuse, negligence (including the negligence of any repair facility), improper towing, lack of maintenance of the failed part, contamination, overheating, salt, rust and rust damage, environmental damage, or chemicals.

No payment or reimbursement if your vehicle is used for competitive driving or racing, police or emergency service, principally off-road use, carriage or passengers for hire, rental purposes, towing a trailer or another vehicle unless your vehicle is equipped for this as recommended by the manufacturer. The Technology Coverage Plan includes advanced driver assistance systems, audio/visual systems and listed accessories. Certain restrictions, limitations and/or exclusions may apply*

Any part not specifically listed below is not covered by this Service Contract. Only the following listed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components are covered by this Service Contract:

ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS:Backup, forward and surround cameras; parking assistance systems; active blind spot monitoring systems; lane departure warning systems; exterior motion sensors and rear parking sonar; radar cruise control (adaptive cruise control) systems; near object avoidance systems; collision avoidance systems; all modules for advanced driver assistance systems listed above.

AUDIO/VISUAL SYSTEMS:Global Positioning Systems (GPS); navigation systems and modules; touch screens, display screens, TV screens and DVD players; Bluetooth components; multimedia joystick/selector switches; voice command systems; radio/graphic equalizer/compact disc player, speakers, amplifiers and satellite radio systems.

ACCESSORIES:USB power/data ports, 12V power ports, 110V power outlet and power inverters for 120VAC; wireless charging pads for mobile phone; WiFi data connections/hot spots and mobile phonesinterfaces.
