The Heald Roadblocker provides high level security for military applications through to car park

controls. The system is manufactured to withstand repeated impact and still operate, giving

high security levels to all sites. Specified worldwide for its strength and reliability, the Roadblocker comprises

of a hydraulically powered reinforced steel barrier that lies flush to the road surface when at rest and raises to

a height of between 340mm and 1200mm (dependant on model) upon activation. Strong and durable in

construction, the Roadblocker can be easily operated by sites’ security personnel or by individual drivers

through a choice of access systems. The recommended applications for each model are as follows:

340mm - Ideal for traffic control and the limitation of vandalism.

540mm & 650mm - Designed for use in high security areas.

800mm, 900mm, - Recommended for military and very high security establishments.

1000mm & 1200mm

With its unique design, fitting can usually be completed in one day, and the high security anti-tamper

controls ensure there is no way of beating the system.

E A V Y D U T Y A U T O M A T E D B O L L A R D S HThe heavy duty Automated Bollard is ideal for protecting a range of industrial and commercial sites.

Manufactured from 220mm diameter heavy duty steel tube, it provides an alternative to the

Roadblocker for use on sites that may be more architecturally sensitive, but still require a higher level of security.

The bollard lies flush to the road surface when lowered and raises to a height of either 640mm or 800mm

(dependant on model) in approximately four seconds, thus providing a formidable barrier against

unauthorised entry or exit.

The Automated Bollard can be operated by a range of access controls and is controlled by a central Mitsubishi PLC

that can be programmed to exact requirements. Ideal for bus lane control, pedestrian walkways, high security

establishments and car parks, the bollard is designed to be used by any road going vehicle.

The Heald Trovan Access Guard systems are the latest addition to Heald’s high security

portfolio and combine unique state-of-the-art RFID technology with high security

perimeter protection.

Through working closely with system partners,Trovan, Heald supply three systems for

validating drivers or vehicles prior to site entrance or exit.

Thatcham listed and hermetically sealed, the transponders supplied have a completely

unique and counterfeit-proof code, can be read through virtually any material,

(including metal) and have a virtually unlimited life span. Coupled with a heavy duty

and anti vandal perimeter system like Heald’s high security Roadblocker, the risk of

unauthorised entry or exit is virtually eliminated.

The Heald Trovan Access Guard 3 advanced system validates the pairing of a person

to a vehicle or ‘tow behind’, tractor unit or trailer. A PC based software system logs all

movements and if unauthorised entrance or exit is attempted, the system can trigger

external alarm systems.

The transponders can also be used to validate individual users within a building,

and work concurrently with the main entrance/exit barrier validation as part of a

complete access control monitoring system through the PC based software.

or access. Where automatic access is not required, the barriers provide a cost effective solution to traffic control. Easily operated, the barriers are lockable in the open or closed positions.

Raising and Swinging Barriers:-Manual Arm Barriers are manufactured from heavy duty steel and aluminium. Available in lengths of 3-9 metres with an aluminium beam, a heavy duty steel option is also available in beam lengths of 3-6 metres.

The barriers come supplied with a quality padlock, and are available with the option of bottom skirts for added security. Raising barriers are counterbalanced for easy operation. All barriers have the option of installation into concrete.

Removable Bollard

The Removable Bollard simply slides into the uniquely designed base plate, eliminating the need for any excavation when fitting. An integral locking system secures it in place, thus presenting a solid barrier against unauthorised vehicle entry.

Fold Down Bollard

Designed to provide an efficient and economical defence against unauthorised use. The Fold Down Bollard is sturdy, durable and easy to operate. It provides an ideal option for all round site protection. Fitted with an integral lock, the Fold Down Bollard is easy to install and will take the weight of vehicles in the lowered position.

Telescopic BollardA retractable steel post specially designed to provide all round high level security for commercial premises. Day or night the Telepost can be used to strengthen shutters, and can help to prevent or restrict vehicle access.Easily retractable using the integral handle, the Telepost simply lifts out of the ground. A spring loaded staple automatically projects when at maximum extension and is secured by a single padlock. When not in use the post slides into the ground, leaving just the lid visible. The padlock can be attached to the handle and housed beneath the hinged lid.A Removable Socketed version is also available.Padlocks not supplied as standard.
