Don’t Pass Bet

This particular bet and betting box is placed just above the Pass Line on the Craps

table. As with any other online Craps bet, you can place your chips on the table by left-

clicking directly on top of the designated area. Alternatively, you can take down a bet by

right-clicking on the chips that have been previously placed.

The Don’t Pass Bet is somewhat opposite to the Pass Line Bet. Here you will be

betting against the shooter – in other words, you will be hoping that the shooter loses.

Don’t Pass Bet

This particular bet is opposite to the Pass Line Bet because the rolls of 7 or 11 will be

losers, whilst the amounting combinations of 2 or 3 will be instantaneous winners. In

Vegas Craps the combination roll of 12 results in a tie.

If a Point (4,5,6,8,9,10) is established on the Come Out Roll and rolled for a second

time, the bet is lost. After having established the Point, the dice combination that you

will be in search of is the winning combination of 7. Essentially, your only two action

rolls will be the Point (lose) and any combination resulting in a 7 (win)

The Come Bet

Another very important type of wager in the game of Craps is the Come Bet. The Come

Bet is essentially a bet within the Pass Line Bet. Come bets can be made after the

Point has been established in both Pass Line and Don’t Pass Line bets, although it

would be illogical to place Come bets if you have initially placed a Don’t Pass Line bet

on the table. The come bet is therefore a strategic extension of the Pass Line bet and

both should always go hand in hand.

Come bets are placed directly on the ‘Come’ sign. In fact, Come Bets are made on

other non-action rolls, thus establishing further Points. Let’s look at an example:

The Come Bet

Say that the Point after the Come Out Roll has been established as a 4. By placing a

Come bet, the very next non-action combination will attach your wager to its

complimentary number on the above grid. Let us suppose that the second roll of the

dice, the roll after the Come Out Roll, brings us a combination of an easy 6 (4 & 2).

After making this particular ‘double bet’ you will in fact be going after a 4 or 6 reroll. If

the 4 comes before the 6, the Pass Line bet wins and the Come bet stays in the grid

until a 6 is rolled in the following rolls.

The Come Bet

Of course, if a 2, 3 or 12 combination is rolled before any of these numbers, the Come

bet will lose, whilst a 7 and 11 will be a winner. You can make as many Come bets as

you wish, although most Craps pros will tell you that for odds purposes you should not

have more than two Come bets (two extra Points) in play during any given time. Once

Come Bets and their Points have been established, you can place Odd bets as with

Pass Line bets. Come Bet Odd Bets are limited at 3X as with Pass Line Bets.

The Pass Line bet

Like Pass Line bets are opposite to Don’t Pass Bets, Don’t Come Bets are opposite to

Come Bets. With Don’t Come bets you will be betting against with the house and

against the shooter. Bets placed in the Don’t Come Bar will be winners if the roll is a 2

or 3 and losers if the roll is a 7 or 11; the 12, as with Don’t Pass bets, is barred. Any

other dice outcomes will pin your wager abreast the Don’t Come Bar where it will await

further rolls. If the same number is rolled as to where the Don’t Come wager has been

pinned, the wager will be lost – if a 7 is rolled, the pinned Don’t Come wager will be a

winner.

Come Bets and Don’t come Bets pay even odds, unless odds have been taken. Odds

Bets can be added or taken down at any time. Please feel free to distribute and republish this document providing that all links contained herein remain intact © www.CrazyVegasCasino.com 2011
