The vCam belongs to the new generation of sewer pipeline camera inspection systems by Vivax. The use ofsewer pipeline cameras is becoming increasingly important for the protection of our water resources. Therequirements of our customers and the results of extensive tests had a great effect on the design and thesimple use of the camera. A comprehensive network of support partners are responsible for sales and service.

The vCam sewer pipeline camera inspection system allows you to choose between two control unit ver-sions: vCamView - only for image transmission; vCamDigital - for image transmission and recording data.The reel is available in three different versions: Type C standard reel (60 m push cable); Type P large reel(120 m push cable); Type M mini-reel (30 m push cable). All push cables are available with two different di-ameters: 10 mm cable for pipes of small diameter and several elbows; 12 mm cable for pipes of largerdiameter and/or large distances for more steady pushing.

A standard camera head and a head with level regulation (self-leveling camera) are available for each cablediameter. The vCam models were developed in cooperation with our customers, who use these productsevery day.

All camera heads are equipped with a locatingprobe with three transmission frequencies:

• 640/512 Hz for use in cast pipes or under metalcovers

• 33 kHz for locating pipes and channels in deeperplaces

vCam reels

The vCamView and the vCamDigital are availablewith three different reel models:

• The Type-C reel is a round unit made entirelyof stainless steel. An integrated cushioning sys-tem cushions knocks from kerbs or steps. As anoption, the operating module can be fastened onthe reel for a better view.

• The Type-P reel is a large wheel reel made ofpowder-coated painted steel, that is best suitedfor the 120 m push cable.

• The Type-M reel is a handy, portable unit madeof stainless steel. It is used mainly for the thin-ner push cable (10 mm) and for shorter distancesand house connections.

Location systems for locating sewer pipeline cam-era heads

The vCamLoc locator is for locating camera heads of push cameras and transporter systems. It can receive all standard active frequency ranges used by most manufac-turers (640 Hz, 512 Hz, 33 kHz). In addition, the system can also be used for the simple location of cables and lines.

The EasylocCam is the second simplifi ed version of a location system. This location system can be specially confi gured to all common frequencies of the custom-er’s camera in use. Its simple handling guarantees good results.
