WOMEN’S SUMMER BOOK/BIBLE STUDY TO BEGIN IN JUNE

A Women’s Summer Book/Bible study will begin the first Sunday of June and continue

through July. We will meet from 5:00 p.m.—6:30 p.m. in the Administrative Conference

Room and discuss C.S. Lewis’s book Reflections on the Psalms. Everyone who would like

to attend will need to purchase the book before the study begins. Donna Peyton will be

leading. All ladies are welcome!

MUMC MEMBERS TO SERVE IN HONDURAS

Six members of MUMC will be serving in mission in Honduras from June 6—13. They will be commissioned for

service during the 8:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, June 2.

Missioners from MUMC will include Phil Hinton, Mel Headley, Sammy Barmer, Jim Wiseman, Alexa Ainsworth,

and Carrie Ainsworth.

MISSISSIPPI UMC ANNUAL CONFERENCE This year’s Annual Conference will meet in Jackson, MS at the Jackson Convention

Complex on June 5-8. Please be in prayer for our pastors, our lay delegates (Rodger Was-

son and Cary Breedlove) and all Annual Conference delegates as they vote on many im-

portant issues. They will be selecting 2020 General Conference and Jurisdictional Confer-

ence delegates at this meeting, too.

There will be a Celebrate Recovery Leadership Team meeting in

the Multi-Purpose Room (second floor of the Education Building)

at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, June 3. Anyone interested in helping

with this ministry should attend!

There will be an ERT (Early Response Team) training event in the East Jackson
