Vasvi Bharat Ram
Vasvi Bharat Ram is the National President of FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). FLO is the premier women’s business organization in the country and implements a number of National Initiatives to create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for women at all levels and works on policy and advocacy with the Government to strengthen the position of women in society.
Vasvi has been working towards the cause of women empowerment for many years. She is a strong advocate of equal participation of women in economic activities across all strata. In the past, she has also held the office of the Chairperson of the Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO), Delhi, in the year 2010-‐11. She has held the post of ‘Education Chair’ and ‘Spouse Forum Chair’ in the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), Delhi and has won International awards for the same.
In addition to spearheading FLO, Vasvi is the Joint Vice Chairperson of The Shri Ram Schools, which have been consistently rated as one of the top schools in India. Under the aegis of Shri Educare Limited, she has been instrumental in setting up The Shri Ram Millennium Schools and The Shri Ram Early Years play schools in the National Capital Region. She is on the Board of the SRF Foundation and SAVE the Children India, both of which work towards providing a better quality of life to the under privileged children of our country.
She is a member of various Education Forums including the FICCI School Education Committee and the Forum of Progressive Schools.
Vasvi earned a degree in Bachelors of Arts from Delhi University and did her post-‐graduation in Business of Fashion Management from the London College of Fashion in London. She has also completed a number of executive education programs from globally renowned universities, including one from the Harvard Business School in Boston. She started her career as an entrepreneur making wrought iron furniture, home accessories and artefacts working with and providing a livelihood to local women artisans.
Outside of work, Vasvi enjoys reading, travelling, music and theatre. She and her husband live in New Delhi with their two daughters.

Synopsis
Harjinder is National Vice president of FLO.She founded her company in 1995. Today with 70+ employees and 4 offices across India, it makes her a proud business Woman providing operational, strategic and administrative leadership in challenging situations.
Having a computer science degree and guided by the father who won National Award, she took upon the challenge to change Govt services and reformed the road sector through technological drive.
Her company has delivered projects which have been catalyst in redefining the way Govt to citizen services were delivered and the model was thus replicated on PAN India level. Way back in 2001, the project named TWINS. This project was also showcased to the then US President “H.E. Bill Clinton“.Today, her company is considered a niche player in e-governance.
In her quest to reform the road sector through “Intelligent Transport solutions”, in 2006 she formed a Joint Venture with world’s leading intelligent Transport Solutions Company named Q-Free ASA - Norwegian AAA rating organization. Incidentally 2006 was also the year when she founded the YFLO chapter of Hyderabad. (YOUNG WOMEN WING OF FICCI)
Her company went on to specialize in the road sector and today has strategic partnerships with world leaders like SWARCO (the swaroksi group company), TOMTOM (Backbone of Google map) and SAP (world’s largest ERP solutions company).
She have leveraged her sound business policies and good relationship with Governments across ideologies including the current dispensation..
Some of the notable contributions are as under:
! Implementation of RFID based electronic toll collection technology for India, integrating with thecentral clearing house of NPCI and payment settlement system across banks for toll lanes in India.
! A few major Highways in the country are running with her solutions. Some of them are Delhi AgraHighway, Gurgaon- Faridabad Toll road, Hosur Krishnagiri Toll road near Banglore and Pune-Satara expressway.
! Currently her company is implementing Smart City projects in many states. Notable areas of workare-smart Garbage collection solution- Optimization and intelligence of traffic signals with respect to traffic in corridors- planning traffic in city, working in partnership with traffic police in various cities in real time trafficinformation- Knowledge management and tools to streamline the traffic with the help of history data analysis.

Vinita Bimbhet is the Immediate Past President of FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. FICCI is the largest and oldest apex business organization in India. Its members are leaders in the corporate sector, representing 2,50,000 companies. It is key in influencing and shaping business policy and articulating the voice of the private sector.
She has been working towards women empowerment for the last fifteen years and was responsible for setting up FLO Mumbai Chapter in 2002. Amongst others she led their initiatives for empowering women by building sanitation facilities for schools in rural Maharashtra. This initiative was launched in 2011 and has seen the successful completion of over 250 toilets.
She launched the “Roti Project” which provided vitamin fortified Indian bread to school children for whom this was probably the only meal. This was done in partnership with HUL's Annapoorna brand of flour and most importantly it also provided alternate employment to women.
She is also Founder Director Grameen Initiative for Women (GIW) a section 25 not for Profit Company, which is actively involved in supporting the “Education of the girl child” by providing sanitation facilities for schools and also providing girl student’s cycles, computers, scholarships and other support which encourage them to continue their education.
Vinita is Promoter and Director in The India Art Investment Company, a specialist art firm offering diverse services to art collectors who are building new modern or pedigreed collections.
In an effort to provide employment to craftspeople and to revive Indian and Tribal Art, The India Art Investment Company with its Made in India initiative is supporting craftsmen across the country and has successfully created several innovative products and received support from several corporate houses, companies and other enterprises pan India and overseas.
She sits on the Council for Advancement of People’s Action and Rural Technology, under the aegis of the Ministry of Rural Development, is on the advisory Board of IWFCI-‐India and Chairs the India ASEAN Womens Business Forum.
Vinita sits on several boards, is widely travelled, in her business capacity, and as a speaker in conferences in India and overseas.

Ms. Rashmi Sarita
Rashmi Sarita is currently the Executive Director, FICCI Ladies Organization. She brings along 13 years of rich experience across various sectors and verticals of the economy that covers intellectual property rights, science and technology, innovation and R&D, homeland security, Private security industry, and geospatial technologies, among others.
In FICCI, she has been involved with policy and regulatory issues in different economy verticals. Rashmi has been responsible for conceptualizing the concept of “safe and secure nation” in FICCI, and in providing key inputs to amendments of the PSAR Act 2005 and in putting forward the demands for amendments in the Public Procurement Bill and Public Funded R&D bill.
She has engaged government’s attention in the creation of Standards for Security at Public particularity in connection with the internal security of the country. She was also engaged with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Department of Policy and Promotion (DIPP), GOI to get India off the 301 list by spreading IPR awareness in India. She has represented FICCI at various national and international forums and executed Euro- India Projects successfully.
Rashmi is a commerce graduate from the Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She also has a Post Graduate Degree in International Business from Faculty of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.
