9 STEPS TO STARTING THE RIGHT WAY Meet with your Sponsor/Upline and complete all the following steps to get started the correct way:

1 Enroll.

2 Purchase appropriate initial order— a Pack based on what you want to accomplish.

3 Enroll in Vasayo’s Loyalty Convenience Program (LCP) where your selected Vasayo products will arrive at your doorstep each month, hassle free.

If you are a business builder, we recommend 160 CV or greater. If you are a Customer, we recommend ordering 80 CV or greater. LCP is the backbone to residual income.

4 Contact your upline to schedule your Brand Partner Orientation.

11Your First 48 Hours

YOUR FIRST 48 HOURS The foundation for a successful Vasayo business is built through a proven model.

How quickly you succeed depends on getting started correctly. Here are some key activities to begin doing right now:

1. Develop a Contact List

Do not prejudge—Include everyone.

Begin by thinking about who you know in town, out of town, out of state.

Use your cell phone and social media contacts to help you remember.

2. Become a Star

Sponsor 2 people, who each place an appropriate initial order (one of the starter packs.) We recommend being on an LCP of 160 CV or higher as this allows Brand Partners to earn the maximum in Vasayo Rewards Plan bonuses.

3. Duplicate

Build the model Star and Star Maker, and teach the process to others in your organization!

Success in Vasayo is centered around becoming a Star and helping others become Stars, which makes you a “Star Maker.”

Doing this over and over again will advance you to Gold, Blue Sapphire, Diamond, and beyond.

If you can become a Star, you can become a Diamond!

How to Become a Star

1. Make a list of 50–100 names using the contacts in your cellphone and social media.

2. Identify 10 of these people that you feel are optimal candidates with whom to share the Vasayo products, opportunity, and benefits—and contact them. (Get in touch with the person who sponsored you and let her or him help you contact your prospects properly.)

3. As you reach out and share the opportunity and products, find out what most interests them, place product and enroll them, or set up a follow up.

4. Walk your contacts through the “Getting Started” process. (Refer back to “9 Steps to Starting the Right Way”)

Your goal should be to complete these steps with 5–10 of your contacts in the first 24–48 hours. If you contact 5 people and have no success, consult with your upline for help on what to do and how to do it.

Now, set the example by repeating the process!

Place and Replace:

When enrolling a new BP or Customer, it is important and necessary to have enough product on hand to place with them so they can immediately start consuming and seeing results for themselves. Once their initial order comes in they can replace the product you first gave them.

STEP 1: DEFINE YOUR DREAM & DETERMINE YOUR “WHY” Your “why” is the key that will give you the energy to focus on the activities that will bring you success.

As you begin building your Vasayo business, knowing why you are doing it will be your most important intangible asset. A dream is more powerful than a mere goal. In fact, your “why” is what will drive your success, as it is the cumulative result of all your dreams. A well-developed “why” will clearly and powerfully help you and your team members break through obstacles and guide you in deciding how to prioritize your time and efforts.

Answer the following questions. If money were not a limiting factor:

1. How would you live your life?

2. What would you buy for yourself or your family?

3. Where would you travel to on your bucket list?

Ask yourself: “Why do I even have a bucket list or dreams if I have no way to achieve them?”

Create a dream board by cutting out pictures and posting them in a common area in the house (i.e., the bathroom, kitchen, or living room). These images should include:

A favorite vacation spot or travel destinations you would like to visit with your family

Your dream home

Your dream car

Where you want to send your kids to school

Charitable causes

These are the things that will most likely determine your “why” and thereby help you sustain your efforts to build your business.

How to Define Your Dream

1. Clearly define what your dream is. Then, write it down.

What you visualize, you can achieve.

2. Dream Big!

For instance, perhaps your dream starts with being able to go out once a month with your spouse but could also be becoming completely debt free.

How to Feed Your Dream

You need to “feed” your dream. Test drive your dream cars. Walk through model homes. Research motorhomes or the colleges you want your children to attend. Create and review your dream board. Add other goals to this board such as becoming debt free, traveling with your kids, and purchasing a dream home. What you keep in front of you is where you will go.

People take time to feed their bodies, but not their dreams. Both are important because what you feed grows, and what you starve dies.

STEP 2: GOAL SETTING AND COMMITMENTS After you’ve established your “why,” the next step is to determine what you want to achieve BECAUSE of your “why.” In other words, you need to establish realistic goals.

One common characteristic of successful people is that they set goals, then commit to them. Goals are markers that help you track your success and give you a clear path to realizing your dreams.

The most effective goals have the following attributes:

They are recorded/written.

They have realistic dates attached to them. (A goal with no date is nothing more than a fantasy.)

They are clearly defined. (If a goal is not clear, you will take your eyes off it when things get tough.)

They must be achievable.

They must be personal and business oriented.

They have rewards attached to them when you achieve them (e.g., “When I achieve the Star 800 rank, I will take my wife to her favorite restaurant and pay for it with the money I earned from my Vasayo Business.”).

Reward Yourself!

Remember to reward yourself when you achieve each goal. For instance, take your kids to the movies after you’ve sponsored 3 people. Or, take a vacation when you hit the Gold rank. The rewards are great reminders of why you’re working so hard.

Daily Goals:

Make 2–3 new contacts a day.

Listen to something positive each day.

Read from the Vasayo “Book of the Month” every day for a minimum of 15 minutes.

Review your dreams and goals daily.

Mini Goals (30–90 days):

Become a Star in your first 48 hours.

Show the Vasayo Presentation 3–5

times a week (with your upline when you can).

Become a Star Maker.

Become a Star 800.

Become a Bronze.

Become a Silver.

Personally enroll 5–10 new Customers and Team Members.

Medium Goals (3 months–1 year):

Become a Gold.

Become a Platinum.

Become a Pearl.

Become a Blue Sapphire.

Personally sponsor 15–20 Customers or Team Members.

Long-Term Goals (1–3 years):

Become an Emerald.

Become a Diamond (and higher)!

These are just recommendations. Based on your personal commitment, skills, and consistency in your business-building activities, you can achieve any of these ranks at different time periods.

MAKING COMMITMENTS “You first make commitments to yourself, your family, your dreams, your wants, and your needs—and, then you make a commitment to Vasayo.”

Be your best Customer by using all of the products daily. This means you need to be on the appropriate volume of LCP.

Update your Contact List daily.

Take personal responsibility for everything you do.

Make a commitment to not only starting but finishing with Vasayo and winning in life.

Invest in the resources it takes to become successful: time, money, self-education, and personal development.

Doing this repeatedly every week will advance you to any level in the company.

There is a cycle to building any successful business:

Have a Dream.

Create goals and make commitments.

Create a plan to reach your goals and stay committed.

Put that plan to work.

25Step 3: Build Your Contact List

STEP 3: BUILD YOUR CONTACT LIST To have a successful business, you must have assets. Your Contact List is your business’s most valuable asset.

Who are the people you’re going to share the Vasayo opportunity with? You’ve probably already thought of several good candidates for what we offer. Now, it’s time to put names on paper.

Start building your list from your cell phone and social media contacts.

Add anyone and everyone you know.

Do not pre-judge; only pre-qualify.

Build a list of at least 100 names.

Use the “memory jogger” sheet in the Vasayo App.

Cold Contacts (People not in your current network but who you and come into contact with in your everyday life)

From your Contact List, create a “Top 10” list of people who you would listen to if they called you. Typically, the same people you would listen or respond to will listen to you.

Start sharing first with prospects who are located “in town.” Then, start to expand as you have the resources and time availability to do so. If you plan to sponsor someone who lives out of town, be a responsible sponsor and make a commitment to support that person in building their business. Video conferences, Vasayo Views, and 3-Way Calls are great ways to stay connected with your team. Also, check the Vasayo Events Calendar to see when upline Brand Partners are in their area. Events are another effective way to support your team. If you can’t commit to doing these things, then don’t sponsor that person.

How to Add to Your List Daily

As you stay consistent with your commitment to connecting with people every day, you will continually be adding people to your Contact List.

The next 4 steps (Contact, Invite, Show the Plan, Follow Up) are the activities that directly produce income. They are skills, and skills can be learned. Everyone has the ability to master these skills and experience big-time success.

STEP 4: CONTACT Creating contacts is a habit you should develop as you meet people in your everyday routine. The Contact is not the time to introduce Vasayo. Rather, it is to make a point of connection to add to your list of contacts.

Make it a point to contact 3–5 people a day using FORM, a formula that helps you start a conversation with most anyone. People like to talk about themselves. FORM simply prompts you to ask questions that you would naturally ask in a conversation.

FORM Conversation Example:

“Hey, how’s it going? My name is __________ . What’s yours? You live around here, or are you from around here? Super, how long have you lived here? Are you married or do you have kids? Me too!”

[Follow the natural flow of the conversation relating their answers to yours.]

“So, what type of work do you do? How long have you been doing that; I bet they pay well?”

[Let them answer, then let them know what you do.]

“And, what do you like to do in your free time?”

[Listen to their answer and relate their answer to your own comments.]

Somewhere in the latter part of the conversation, say something like, “You know, I’ve enjoyed talking with you. If I’m in the area, I would love to touch base with you!”

Ask for their business card, don’t give out yours.

Important! At this point, ask THEM to put their contact info in your cell phone and dial their number so they have yours too.

This is a guideline, and we recommend you practice this with your upline.

Use FORM in your daily conversations and interactions (e.g., standing in line for coffee, checking out at the grocery store or gas station).

Keep conversations brief and simple, and DON’T “Go for the Kill.” Your goal is to make a contact, not do a “One on One.”

STEP 5: INVITE There are multiple ways and strategies to invite people. Make these strategies your own based on your own personality.

Inviting people to take a closer look at Vasayo, either as a Brand Partner or Customer, is the heart of your Vasayo business. Organizing a list of names is important and must be done. But, your list will not generate $1 of commission if you never invite these people to be a part of what we offer.

It’s important to remember that Inviting is what you do after you Contact. Do not mix up Contacting with Inviting. You can invite people to see the Vasayo opportunity in multiple ways: Invite to a One-on-One Meeting, a Vasayo View, or a 3-Way Call.

1. Phone Call: “Hey ___________ , I found a way we can make some money and help some people. Are you open to discussing it more?”

2. 3-Way Call: “Hey ___________ , how are you? Listen, I only have a few minutes, but the reason I am calling is I’ve been putting something together with some business partners, and I think it could turn into something big. Are you available to jump on a call later with me for 15 to 20 minutes? I’ll have one of my business partners on with us; we’ll run some information by you. If it makes sense to you like it did to us, great. If not, no big deal.”

3. Call and Send Video: “Hey ___________ , I’m putting some things together and thought of you since you’re an entrepreneur and always open to new things. I can’t promise anything, but I’m going to send you two videos that are less than 5 minutes each. Will you watch those, and I’ll call you back in 15 minutes to get your opinion?”

4. Invite to a Vasayo View: “Hey _____________ , I know you are an entrepreneur and always open. I have a very successful friend coming to my home tonight to share with us about

making some money and helping some people.

I believe it could be big, and I would like to get your feedback/thoughts on it. Will you come?”

5. Reaching Out to a Friend: “Hey ___________ , I don’t have a lot of time right now, but I had to reach out to you. If I told you there was a way to make some money and have some fun —without changing your schedule—would you want to know about it?”

6. After Seeing a Reply to a Social Media Post: “Hi ___________ , I saw your comment on my post. Thanks for the feedback! It seems like you’re pretty interested in being healthy. I’ve got something you might find interesting. I could chat with you about it…would probably take 15–20 minutes. I’m available right now or later this evening about 8 p.m. Are you open for a brief chat?”

35Step 6: Show the Plan

STEP 6: SHOW THE PLAN Once you’ve invited your prospect to learn more about Vasayo, it’s time to present to them the Vasayo company, products, and Rewards Plan. We’re in the network marketing industry, which means we will always be presenting to others, person to person. It’s essential that you never forget this.

Modern technology has also made it easier than ever to show the plan to others. You can do this by simply texting a video (learn more about this in the following section) or emailing a link to a video or PDF. Whatever route you take, showing the plan is obviously a vital step in helping others understand how Vasayo can help them.

There are multiple ways to show the plan:

1. 3-Way Calls: This method helps you capitalize on your upline’s credibility and not make it all about you. Your job is to edify your upline to your prospect and to edify your prospect to your upline as you take 2 to 3 minutes to get the call started. Using third-person credibility with an expert

on the phone is so important. A 3-Way Call is the simplest way to get someone started in Vasayo. In general, 3-Way Calls should last 15–20 minutes. Until you’ve achieved some level of success with Vasayo, you should always invite your upline expert to participate in 3-Way Calls with your prospects. Even after achieving success, you will still want the validation that comes from inviting an expert on to your call.

2. One-on-One: This involves meeting one-on-one with your prospect to go over the Vasayo business opportunity and products. Using the Vasayo Flip Chart presentation is ideal for a One-on-One Meeting. These meetings should last approximately 30 minutes. To have a successful One-on-One Meeting, you need to have the following:

A) Vasayo Product

B) Your Vasayo Flip Chart Presentation

C) Product Brochures

D) Enrollment Sheets

E) Action Plan Sheets

3. Vasayo Views: You can either host a Vasayo View or invite someone to a Vasayo View held elsewhere. Show the presentation either with the Flip Chart on an easel or projected on your TV using the Vasayo App.

Vasayo Views are a terrific way to get new people jumpstarted as a follow up to a call or One-on-One. They also give you a chance to bring someone with you to someone else’s Vasayo View. These meetings build community, which is a vital part of the business and, frankly, one of the main reasons people join Vasayo. They want to be part of a community and culture where they feel valued and appreciated. Vasayo Views should last 45–60 minutes. The reason why you want to keep it to 45 minutes is it allows you to connect with your guests afterwards, sample the products, and enroll new Brand Partners. To host a successful Vasayo View, you need the following:

A) Vasayo Products (to sample and send home with new prospects)

B) Vasayo Banners

C) Your Vasayo Flip Chart Presentation

D) Product Brochures

E) Enrollment Sheets

Another important element of a successful Vasayo View is simplicity. You want to make your meeting duplicable, which means that your prospects and new team members will see how easy it is to host a meeting. So, keep it simple. For instance, do not put out a big spread of food (only have water bottles). Don’t worry about special lighting or music. Just a clean home, a simple welcome, and a brief, powerful presentation will do the trick. If it’s too fancy, your prospects will think to themselves, “I could never do that.” If it’s simple, your prospects will think to themselves, “Hey, even I could do this!”

Make sure to have no pets or young children in the room. These may casue distractions, and you need to maintain a professional atmosphere. REMEMBER, you are building a professional business.

Finally, a crucial aspect of a Vasayo View (and any meeting) is to BOOK ANOTHER MEETING and announce it at that meeting. So, don’t forget to have scheduled your next Vasayo View (or schedule someone else’s on your calendar) so you can announce it at the current meeting.

Each of these meetings creates more belief in your prospects and new members by allowing them to see other successful people and members of your team. In this way, they see that they can be part of a thriving, successful organization. So, never leave a meeting without booking another meeting!

USING SOCIAL MEDIA TO SHOW THE PLANYou can indirectly “show the plan” to your prospects through your social media posts. Once you’ve created curiosity and they begin reaching out to you, simply take the conversation offline and proceed like you normally would by sending them a video, PDF, or other tool, or by offering to get on a 3-Way Call and so forth. The following are some basic yet crucial principles to follow when it comes to social media:

Use the “80-20” Rule: With social media, it’s very important to be a “giver” rather than an “asker” or a “taker.” If you contribute in some way to others (by posting practical information, funny/entertaining posts, inspirational content and so forth) instead of constantly asking others to buy product or join your team, you’ll find much higher levels of success. So, about 80 percent of your social media content should be of the “giving” type, while the remaining approximately 20 percent can be specifically related to promoting Vasayo and your team.

Push the Positive: As you share your story, you want to project an image of being enjoyable, pleasant, and uplifting. message function) to talk “right now” or “later today/tonight.” The early cultivating of the relationship occurs online (using social media) but will eventually need to become personal. Simply send a message saying something like, “Hey, thanks so much for your response to my post. That made my day. If you’re interested, I’d love to discuss this more with you. In fact, do you have a couple minutes right now to talk; or, would tonight or tomorrow work better?”

Keep it Real, Raw, and Genuine: Post content that portrays an honest picture of you. Remember, you’re trying to create an online brand that says, “You can trust me!”

Don’t Go After “The Kill”: Once you connect, remember that you’re trying to cultivate a relationship. As you do this, the “sale” happens naturally and without pressure. Your new friend will join because she trusts you and feels comfortable joining your team, not because you “sold” her on Vasayo. STEP 7: FOLLOW UP The fortune is in the follow up!

Following up with your prospects is crucial to building your Vasayo business. There is no point in contacting, inviting, or showing the plan if you do not follow up with your prospects.

- The critical time to follow up is 24–48 hours after you first show the plan because the prospect’s excitement is at its peak.

- The follow up should be scheduled before you end your previous meeting with your new prospect.

- The follow up is always best in person. If this isn’t possible, a telephone call or a video conference will do.

Here are a few guidelines for following up:

When following up, ask leading questions and take them back to “why” Vasayo could be a benefit to them (financially, health wise, community). “What did you like the best about what you saw?”

Lead them through the application. Remember, they do not know what to do or which Pack to get; it is your job to lead them through the process and set them up properly to win.

Don’t think you need to be an expert. Point them to the information. If they have questions on ingredients, give them the FAQ sheet, etc.

The Vasayo opportunity is all about timing. While the timing for someone might not be good today, it could be perfect in the near future. But, you will never know unless you follow up consistently.

During the follow up, it is important to introduce your prospect to your upline and your team to show you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.

STEP 8: COUNSEL UPLINE Finally, you should stay connected with your Upline to review goals and activities and stay accountable.

- How many 3-Way Calls this week?

- How many Vasayo View events?

- How many follow-up calls did you make?

BLUEPRINT FOR SUCCESS(Star + Star Maker Bonus / Goldrush)

Once you define your dream, build your list and start implementing the four activities to produce income (Contact, Invite, Show the Plan, and Follow Up) you can now start to build your future.

The fundamental model to building Vasayo is “Star” and “Star Maker.”

You become a Star when you are Active (enrolled in Vasayo and on an LCP of at least 80 PV; if you are on an LCP of at least 160 PV, the bonuses for Star and Star Maker double) and personally sponsor 1 person on your left team, and one person on your right team who place an order for at least 80 PV. When you do this, you become a Star and receive a one-time Star Bonus.

Your next step is to become a “Star Maker.” When you help people you have personally sponsored become Star (Active with one personal left and one personal right), you qualify as a Star Maker and receive the Star Maker Bonus!

There is no limit to the number of times you can earn the Star Maker Bonus. Each

time you personally enroll someone who becomes a Star and you are Active, you will earn another Star Maker Bonus. The only limitation is that you can earn only 1 Star Maker Bonus on each person you personally sponsor who becomes a Star.

FOUNDATION FOR DIAMONDThe foundation for Diamond comes from 20/20 vision. This means you have 20 personally sponsored on your left team and 20 personally sponsored on your right team.

Your goal is to sponsor 1 out of every 5 people you share the plan with. If you do this on a weekly basis, you can build the foundation for Diamond in approximately 12 months.

As you sponsor personals left and right (which creates width in your organization), you should also help your personals sponsor their own personals (which creates depth). Your goal is to increase one in depth every other week.
