The beauty industry were out in force at the recent Aesthetic Medicine show 2008. Surgeons, aesthetic doctors, nurses and clinicians were all in attendance for the unveiling of the latest in anti-ageing technology.

Anyone who is anyone in the cosmetic enhancement industry attended the Aesthetic Medicine show at London's Olympia on 9th and 10th February. The event was followed by an awards ceremony to celebrate the crème de la crème o f p r o f e s s i o n a l s h e l p i n g t o k e e p B r i t a i n b e a u t i f u l !

Judged by industry experts including David Hicks, MD of Wigmore Medical; Bob Khanna, founder and president of the IAAFA (International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics) and Dr Uchenna Okoye, one of the UK's leading cosmetic dentists, the Aesthetic Medicine Awards recognise those beauty professionals who have gone the extra mile to ensure their customers get the b e s t p o s s i b l e s e r v i c e .

With categories including Best Customer Experience (won by Xavier G Medi-Spa in Southampton) and Best Customer Services By a Manufacturer/Supplier (won by Q-Med, creators of Restylane), it was clear that the awards' organisers h a d t h e c u s t o m e r ' s b e s t i n t e r e s t s a t h e a r t .
