MPA with individualconnectionValves with individual sub-bases can be used for actuatorswhich are further away from the

valve terminal. A 4-pin,threaded M8 electricalconnection is required in thiscase.

MPA with multi-pin plugconnectionThe valve terminal can beequipped with up to 24solenoid coils, whichcorresponds to 4 to 24 MPA1 or2 to 24 MPA2 valves, or acombination of both. The MPA-Lcan take up to 32 valves.

Variant for reverse operationMPA valves can be operated inreverse (pressurization viaports 3 and 5, exhaust via 1). If,for example, a cylinder withpiston rod is operated withdifferent pressures (i.e. 3 and 5are isolated from each other),both the advancing andretracting movements aresubject to the same axial forcesdespite the different cross-sections of the surfaces(piston minus piston rod).

Advantages• Adjustment of the regulatoris independent of the valve’sswitching position

• Greater exhaust performancebecause exhaust air is notrouted through the regulator

• The regulator is subjected toless stress

• Can be combined with5/2 and 5/3-way valves
