It is my privilege to welcome you to Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, the pioneer in technical education in entire Central India. SSTC is the flagship institute under the aegis of Shri Gangajali Education Society. The establishment of SSTC has the philosophy of Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya at its roots and pursuit of excellence in professional education as its mission.

Three decades back, it was SGES that sowed the seeds of educational revolution in Chhattisgarh, then a part of Madhya Pradesh. SGES has been instrumental in the rise of technical education sector to a new height in Chhattisgarh and taken shape in the form of Shri Shankaracharya Group of Educational Institutions in the newly born state of Chhattisgarh with the blessings of Jagadguru Swami Swaroopanand Saraswatiji Maharaj.

The Group which consists of engineering, management, computer application, pharmacy, medical, nursing, teachers' training institutions etc., has become synonymous for quality education not only in Chhattisgarh but entire Central India and has enormously contributed in shaping the dreams of thousands of youth through dissemination of professional knowledge and training.

In pursuance of the objective to impart quality technical education and with a mission to

empower the students in their becoming excellent human resources, Shri Shankaracharya

Technical Campus (SSTC) offers a wide range of educational programs in the field of

engineering and technology, management, computer application and pharmacy. Our aim is to

inculcate competency in our graduates which will transform them into thinking citizens and

lifelong learners. The SSTC has strong faculty base of highly qualified and renowned faculty members with 65

PhD holders and a good number in the advance stage of completion of their doctoral work. It is a matter of great pride that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has

awarded us Grade 'A'. The National Board of Accreditation has granted reaccreditation to a no.

of courses from time to time. We have been included in top 100 institutes of the country in the

“Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement (ARIIA) 2019”. I feel proud to share that in the last few years, more than 2000 students got placements in

Established in the year 1999 named as SSCET, was the youngest Engineering College to be accreditated by NBA in the year 2004. Managed by SGES and approved by

AICTE andCSVTU, Bhilai, SSCET forayed into Management, Computer Application, Pharmacy, Diploma in Engineering and Fine Arts and now stands as SSTC. It is

managed by a society registered under Chhattisgarh Society registry Adhiniyam 1973. The society consist of Technocrats, Industrialist, Philanthropists, academicians, senior

bureaucrats, CEOs of large business establishments in the state. Important policy decisions and guidelines formulated by the society are executed through a duly

constituted Board of Governors. The society also keeps a watch on the financial health of the Institute/Campus. Generally the society meets twice or thrice a year.

The board of Governors which monitors the working of the Institute/Campus is constituted as per directive of All India Council for Technical Education and the

affiliating University. The Board consists of the representatives of Shri Gangajali Education Society, AICTE, State Government, Industry Experts and nominees of the

University. The Board of Governors meet periodically, review the working of the College and issue necessary advice/instructions to the Director. Director of the

campus reports to the Board of Governors and functions as its Member Secretary.

The Director is assisted by a team of Principals and HoDs with other functionaries in the day-to-day working of the College. Various

Committees are appointed to take care of specific areas/activities such as discipline, examinations, grievances/complaints; anti-ragging measures,

women's grievance cell etc also helps to ensure the quality of services extended to students and other stake holders in accordance with the

Vision and Mission statements of the institute.

Whether that is in the form of starting your own company, assuming a role in a large corporate or performing consulting work, the SSTC puts you in the rare and powerful position of understanding.

Following the completion of a Bachelors of Engineering from SSTC, it offered me the perfect opportunity to build on my existing skill set, while developing new and different talents.The SSTC gave me an appreciation of how to deal with anything that could be thrown at you in your working life.

Achievements-applauds, opportuni�es-thoughts, this is what I gained from Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College. SSEC gave me a pla�orm that I will cherish always. Someday I won and some days I learned. SSEC always held my back, from inspiring words of our HOD Sir to pe�y sweet scolding of our beloved teachers, my life in SSEC was and will be the best experience. I can ever get from my life. This college let us fall by our own but made us climb on the ladder to success.

After receiving my degree and signed on for my first 'real' job I am thoroughly pleased with the decision I made. I spent a year with a great bunch of people while gaining the skills and knowledge which enabled me to pursue a career less ordinary.

SSTC is a step change from the typical environment of an undergrad engineering program; conversation is pivotal and the lecturers are a well-rounded mixture of academics and business professionals. Through fast-paced courses and workshops the SSTC teaches a diverse range of content while fostering a lot of the soft skills probed for almost every interview - communication, leadership, and confidence.

The func�on of educa�on is to teach one to think intensively and to think cri�cally. Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true educa�on. So be a part of this pres�ge college, which has an amazing set of facul�es (who are more like a friends, who can guide you in all the decisions either life related or educa�on related) and learn all possible way-out to become successful in life.

I want to thank all my professors and staff at SSCET (now SSGI) who helped me build a strong foundation. Thewholistic knowledge base combined with the imparted values had helped me improve as a professional and an individual.

Had the most amazing �me, interac�ons with well-learned teaching & lab staff, learnt how to deal with life professionally & personally and made countless memories during 2004-08, EEE batch. Blessed to be a part of that era and ever-thankful to all faculty & IP Mishra Sir for giving us the pla�orm to germinate and grow.

Thanks to all my mentors and management for guiding the right direc�on of effort to achieve the goal. Without their rigorous and con�nuous help, I wouldn't be able to reach my des�na�on.

B.E from SSTC is a very well rounded course that provides essen�al tools for ge�ng ahead in the ‘real world'. In a way SSTC is like a ‘finishing school'. SSTC showed both how and where my technical knowledge can be applied in the business world..More than just class work, this course provided me perspec�ve on how to best u�lise my engineering skills with my interpersonal skills. SSTC was the best decision I have made in my academic career.

I always cherish about the �me I spent in my college with my friends and teachers. 04 years in S.S.C.E.T was a very crucial period of my life, where I learnt about team work, leadership and gained knowledge from highly qualified teachers.
