Our Story In late April 2015 an assembly of 10 like- minded men gathered around a table at Varsity bar. What brought these men together was a passion for punting. The goal was to create group that incorporated the best aspects of gambling – money, fame, chat, bitches – in a social sphere where proceeds from weekly punts would go toward an end of season shindig to rival all shindigs. Everyone present that night knew something special was unfolding. Over a few pints and a tray of hot wings, the founding principles were indoctrinated into a constitution and The Punters Club Pty Ltd was born. From its inception, the Punters Club™ became a beacon of light in our otherwise miserable lives – an escape from the day-to- day grind. The club would quickly grow to 18 members and after one month of play, its fair to say it’s been a raging success. Sure our return on investment to date has been pretty dismal, but that’s not what matters. What matters is that a motley bunch of individuals, from those who only partook in the occasional “flutter” to those who were on the dogs every Satdee down at the OBH, have been brought closer together by a punting club that promises the world but never fails to deliver. Welcome punters to the first edition of the monthly periodical #value. In brief, this newsletter will provide punters with a light- hearted take on all the happenings from your favourite systematic gambling syndicate – The Punters Club Pty Ltd. Monthly Wrap MAYWEATHER VS PACQUIOU Earlier this month the Punters Club™ held its first quasi event when the Sheriff opened up his abode to the boys for the Mayweather v Pacquiao fight. The underdog Pac-man was the clear fan favourite on the day and was backed in heavily by the Punters Club™. Billed as the fight of the century, the fight itself didn’t quite live up to the hype as Jimmy Kimmel took out the BOG for his trolling of Justin Beiber. Despite this, there was some great chat on the day, as everyone suddenly became a boxing expert: Punter 1: “Yeh mate I’d probably have it 2 rounds to 3 in Pac-man’s favor right now.” Punter 2: “Nahhh mate you see Manny’s had a few big swings but he’s not landing any – Floyd is controlling this whole fight.” Punter 3: “Do either of you ACTUALLY know anything about boxing…?” FOOTY FAILS Punting on the AFL so far this season has been harder than Bluey McKenna’s erection in a room full of WAGs. Port Adelaide – last season’s darlings – have killed punters with their poor play this season, while we still can’t figure out if teams such as the Western Bulldogs, GWS and Collingwood are actually any good. Welcome punters to the first edition of the monthly periodical #value. In brief, this newsletter will provide punters with a light-hearted take on all the happenings from your favourite systematic gambling syndicate The Punters Club Pty Ltd.

    Monthly Wrap MAYWEATHER VS PACQUIOU

Earlier this month the Punters Club held its first quasi event when the Sheriff opened up his abode to the boys for the Mayweather v Pacquiao fight. The underdog Pac-man was the clear fan favourite on the day and was backed in heavily by the Punters Club. Billed as the fight of the century, the fight itself didnt quite live up to the hype as Jimmy Kimmel took out the BOG for his trolling of Justin Beiber. Despite this, there was some great chat on the day, as everyone suddenly became a boxing expert:

Punter 1: Yeh mate Id probably have it 2 rounds to 3 in Pac-mans favor right now. Punter 2: Nahhh mate you see Mannys had a few big swings but hes not landing any Floyd is controlling this whole fight. Punter 3: Do either of you ACTUALLY know anything about boxing?

    The Sherriffs Corner

The Sherriff has been red hot this month, dishing out fines left right and centre. Remember, minor discretions will cost you a $5 deposit into the kitty while 4 weeks without success will require you to make a $20 penalty punt (as opposed to the usual $10) the following week. For reference, the Punters Club bank details are:

    Andrew Mather ACC #: 4557 96543 BSB: 016 281

A Word from the Pres 6 weeks in, its fair to say the Punters Club hasnt quite found its mojo yet with some sub-optimal returns to date. Had members deposited their $10 weekly punt straight into the kitty, wed have almost $200 extra stowed away. To be fair, expectations were probably a little high out of the gates and its no coincidence that the past two weeks of positive ROI have coincided with our average legs in our multis dropping from 6 to 2. Its in times like these where Id like to remind everyone of the clubs motto, it only takes one. Punters should not be perturbed by the difficult start and should continue to seek #value wherever possible. Yours in punting,

    The Pres
