Property NSW is trusted to provide impartial and transparent valuations of each local government area, as well as valuations of all NSW properties. This information assists local and state governments to determine rates and land taxes.

The integrity of valuation data is paramount. Online service delivery provides authorised government agencies with easy and fast access to quality-controlled valuation data.

Property NSW commissions and provides quality assurance on land valuations for over 2.5 million properties, with a total land value of $1.49 trillion, for the Office of State Revenue and local government annually.

NSW Globe

Property NSW delivers free land values and property sales information through NSW Globe. NSW Globe allows the public to explore mapping and property information using Google Earth.

Landholder issues resolution

Property NSW developed a conferencing process to improve information exchange and issues resolution between landholders and valuers, preventing concerns being escalated to the Land and Environment Court.

Rapid Analytics Interactive Scenario Explorer (RAISE)

RAISE is a toolkit that enables visualisation and analysis of automated valuation models and value uplift, and evaluates benefits from a range of potential infrastructure case studies. RAISE was developed in partnership with Property NSW and the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information.

Complex Land Value Improvement Project

Property NSW reviews procedures and methodologies for valuing specific complex land types annually. The project ensures the alignment of complex valuation methodologies with statute, judicial precedent, and existing procedural and technical instructions to determine best practice.
